I don't mind admitting I have verging on a phobia of dogs doodoo. I feel really sorry for you guys having to endure strimming through it. Other than getting on a plane it is my worst nightmare!!! I cannot fathom out the mentality of someone who bags it and then chucks it for an unsuspecting victim to find. At a local lake where kids go to fish I have noticed that the dog walkers collectively toss the little landmines into a pile (loose on the floor) thinking that its ok. I feel the need for a public campaign is required (posters, signs, tv adverts) as for me this is a huge problem. I'd love to know if there is an answer to the mares tail problem. I've been plagued by it for 7 years and can't shift it no matter what. It has a cross lattice of black tuber like roots under the surface and no amount of pulling up, digging out or spraying seems to get rid of it. Help!!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk

088 47" & 36" bars. What a beast. Hasn't been out for a while but when it does make an appearance it certainly does the business. When I've got bigger timber to ring up at the yard it gets used which not only gives it a chance to have a run but means the job is done in no time!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk

Changed my Petzl lid 6 months ago, previous one lasted me 5 years. Two new sets of chipper spec muffs and three visors in that time. I try to get the most out of kit.... However personal safety is far more precious than the cost of some new chainsaw protective trousers or a lid. Some people take it to the extreme with shiny new kit (good for them I say) But it sounds like you value your safety. Good for you.

As I have witnessed many times before. ------------------------------ Colleges are businesses and bums on seat and pass rates are the number goal. Some shocking decisions to pass people have been seen with my very own eyes. And some shocking work carried out by people telling me they are 'fully qualified' whatever that is?!! Even one of my best mates who works for a countryside college as an instructor says its all to pot and standards are almost non existent. Sorry rambling rant over!
