  1. Vertex vent with chipper spec muffs all day. I'm already going deaf as it is but the muffs on the pfanner helmet were terrible. Each to their own of course but my head fits better in the Petzl lid. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  2. Had the carbon (Velcro too and bottom) spikes for 5 years now. They are awesome and I will be replacing then soon for exactly the same Type. In my humble opinion The levels of comfort and lightweight feel are second to none. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  3. Yep your right. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  4. Very sorry to hear this. That Is a shocking scenario. It seems that some people will go to any length.... Unbelievable. Good luck. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  5. Tough on the Aussies yesterday as they outplayed us for large parts of the third test.........but..........Having spent the 90's watching us get spanked I don't care how we go about hopefully winning the series (and in the meantime retain the ashes!!) Come on England!!!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  6. Fair play rich. Couldn't be more honest than that mate. Very refreshing http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  7. Hmm that sounds far too convenient doesn't it!!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  8. I know which council this has come from ;-) and they take a very strong stance in my experience of making T.P.O applications. Vast areas of the borough are protected by conservation Areas and T.P.O's and in the past applications i have submitted have been refused for these types of works I.e reductions and thinning (even what I would describe to be sympathetic and minor works). I take it you have had the same experience apex? Unfortunately we have a select minority in our area (developers and rich builders) who have spoilt it for everyone by totally disregarding the rules when it comes to protected trees or best practise for that matter. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  9. Fair play to the Aussies very dominant batting performance and now we are facing an uphill battle to save the third test. Score board pressure showed in our afternoon session of batting. Occupying the crease rather than attacking (given the situation probably the right thing to do) but as the oz batsmen showed, if you are positive you can score well on this old Trafford pitch. Tomorrow is pivotal in the series in my opinion. If we hang in there and dig deep with a strong batting performance we are in a great position series wise. Crumple and I fear it's game on again (never take your foot of a snakes neck!) the Aussies will alway come at you hard, especially when they have been down. So come on cooky and johny trot, lets have the performance of the series tomorrow and swing the balance of power firmly back in our favour!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  10. You'll need to given his reputation as 'the cider dog'!!!! Isn't that right plogs?!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  11. I agree with the first statement in certain cases but I was referring to the broad lbw shout that was absolutely plumb in front and not given after England had used up all their reviews. I don't like the players using it as a gamble. Ie Clarke and co in the first two tests and Ricky ponting in the past. In fairness to England today both reviews were fair shouts (an audible edge behind not given - no hotspot... Ok play on and a good shout for lbw broad hitting 49% of leg stump - umpires calls not out play on!). Adds to the drama, and in most cases (except kawaga today and broad in earlier test) gets the right result. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  12. Fingers crossed your right. DRS once again proving controversial today. Personally I'm a fan but what was the third ump doing with that kawaga decision?!! Then due to England using up their 2 reviews we miss out on an absolute plumb lbw for broad. As plumb as I've ever seen!!!! Hopefully we can nick off smith and Clarke early and get stuck Into the tail. Then bat long into Saturday. Very interesting test match ahead. I can't wait to see it play out! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  13. heard that the play area in whitecliffe has been vandalised with excrement and is now cordoned off. Can't say for sure who was guilty but they have moved on from there to right next to us. My biggest concern is as I stated previously..... Seeing 2 x transit vans checking out the lie of the land down our road. It quite obvious what game I'm in as all the vehicles are sign written. Fingers crossed nothin happens but I've got all our trucks, cars and landys parked tight to garage doors and broadside across. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  14. Ive been Battening down the hatches today as the travelling tree cutters/Tarmac installation experts have moved onto the local playing field (30 seconds down the road from my house). Already had two medium high side transits with three blokes in each pull onto our drive (which is down the end of a private road) and have a good scout. Needless to say I won't be sleeping tonight or until they move on. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  15. Great effect, what finish did you use on the ash bowl Ian? http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  16. Jungle formula let me down big time a few weeks back. Avon skin so soft worked better, but by then the damage was already done!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  17. As Matty says, try newlands or Kingston maurward. (At KM ask to speak to Jen Newman or spencer Gregory about your options. Both very friendly and good friends of mine). http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  18. I'm already planning my road trip up mate!!! I will let you get settled first and then gives you some possible dates. Some distant relatives up your way tell me it's stunning so id like to see it for myself. As for the dream team - it would be awesome!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  19. Defender 90 is my 'car'.... Otherwise it's landy 130 tipper or transit tipper. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  20. Sounds like everything is falling into place Paul. Good on you mate. Those cottages look amazing - my dream home!!! Perhaps the north is the way forward..... Couldn't afford to rent the gate post down here in Dorset!!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  21. Well done Chris, you've got yourself a great employee there mate.... I can vouch for that. Enjoy your first day Paul. Good luck mate!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  22. Enjoying your pictures matt. Are you pleased with the new camera then? http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
