Takes ages after I have posted for it to appear. If I just look at threads on the forum they seem to be loading quickly now.

  19. Get something in writing to say you are not responsible if the render comes off with it. We did a job just like this and the chap said just pull it all off. I told him it had gone under his render. Dont care he said I want it off. We cut the bottom of it tied it to the towbar and it nearly all came off in one piece along with most of the chaps render. He was ok about it though lol.
  20. I did the CS38 climbing last week, no chainsaw. On my course there were others used to rock climbing. I did fine and didnt feel I was any less able than them. The thing you have to think about is if something did go wrong while you were climbing/cutting alone you would have to get yourself down. I would rather have someone capable of getting me down.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
