  10. Hi all I am a beekeeper unfortunately too far from you. The best way is to get in touch with a local beekeeping association tell them what you want to do. If the section the bees are in could be taken out in one piece then you could block the entrance hole up with some gauze/mesh small enough to stop the bees coming out but will still allow them to breathe. This should be done as late in the evening as possible. Then when the section is cut out it will need to be moved over 3 miles away ASAP. If you dont move them 3 miles or more they will fly back to the same spot when allowed out. They can be moved to another woods or similar if no beekeeper wants them but again 3 miles or more away. Hope this helps. One more thing check carefully that there is just the one entrance into the bees nest.
  11. I work for the council and the less the residents know the better, just watch what you do say as they have a nasty habit of quoting what you say if they call to complain.
  12. Doing the Unit CS38 then hope to do some more courses early next year. My workmate has the chainsaw quals.
  13. Hi all new here and will be doing the aerial rescue course at the begining of October with proclimber from west wales. Another work mate has allready done it and passed while he was doing his he had to rescue a chap that really had gone into diabetic shock. So pressure is on for me to pass. Not done any climbing since I was a teenager, did a bit of rock climbing and abseiling so its all a bit new to me. Best bit is all my kit and course paid for by my employer
