  1. I've looked into is and it seems like a worldwide pyramid scheme. Everywhere you look people are banging on about how much you'll make. How whatever you buy now will be worth double before long.. sound familiar? This stuff has no value beyond convincing they next guy you sell it to that its worth more than you paid for it because it'll be worth even more in the future. If you took that sales point away would anyone buy any? IOt reminds me of the dot com boom in the 90s, people investing in websites that don't generate a profit an then losing the lot when it goes south.. I read an interesting article about john f kennedys dad, who just before the great depression, noticed everyone spending too much on stocks that had little value and everyone becoming an expert all of a sudden, so sold the lot and escaped the crash. http://www.exploringmarkets.com/2014/11/how-joe-kennedy-avoided-stock-market.html
  2. That's rich, do you do anything but insult people who disagree with you? Do you even do any tree work? Never.see anything from you but post on this subject, or is your life just about banging on about how wonderful the bloody EU is and how stupid we all are for wanting out? Yesterday was the first time I bothered looking at this thread knowing it would be littered with your wisdom
  3. Is he still banging on? I've given up on news/ politics on here with all the vesp drivel
  4. Cant speak to longevity as only had mine a few months. The fist thing i did was it was cutting beech up to bar length and it flew through it (for its size) as far as i can gather its the exact same saw as the 435 except the clutch and transparent tank section. I think its the best bargain ground saw out there, i pick it up over my 550xp tbh!
  5. can buy the whole saw in bits from here https://www.huztl.net/Complete-Repair-Parts-for-Stihl-038-MS380-MS381-Chainsaw-Stihl-038-parts-Stihl-MS380-parts-Crankcase-Crankshaft-Carburetor-Fuel-Tank-Cylinder-Piston-p367961.html
  6. Best little saw in the price range is the husqvarna 135. Under £170 delivered and 40cc. Got a 14 inch bar on mine and will cut anything you like
  7. No idea, ours is fairly decent but the wife got full signal in the house after we got the box. Then left Vodafone the second her contract was up as all the other networks are fine here and put the box on ebay
  8. The vodafone box works fine once set up but needs to be plugged into your broadband
  9. such a good deal on that echo, would be all over that if didnt own one
  10. Hopefully this works MS440.pdf MS440.pdf
  11. Yeah defo, I don't expect it to arrive for a couple of weeks so will start one as soon as it comes and can see what parts are useable and what needs replacing
  12. No idea. Can always put genuine parts on safety areas like the chain break if there's a doubt
  13. there's youtube vids on the saws build and running, there's also a facebook group called 'huztl farmertec saw builders' i've joined and they've got all the repair manuals for the saws you can buy kit form on there
  14. could be cheaper/ easier to just get a new body if can find one. Know someone whos body was on its way out and got a reconditioned tipper body for about £800 fitted if i remember right
  15. no, they don't. I've asked a few times and they keep telling me they working on one. They do most the bits but not everything, don't do the flywheel and linkages for starters. I put all the bits they do make into my basket and came out a bit more than i'm happy to spend on a project. When a kit comes out i'll be the first to get one!
  16. ouch. did the mot not pick that up?
  17. Yeah had an immaculate one that was stolen It's huztl.net you're looking for. The kits are 30% off this week, have a look on YouTube, plenty of vids of the saws in action
  18. I think quality can vary, guess the trick is to swap out and dodgy parts with genuine. The website selling the parts kit are doing a sale this week so I ordered a ms361 kit to build. Was £155 Inc delivery and a bar and chain. I've no idea what I'm doing and don't expect it to be much more than a curiosity saw/ winter project but think it'll teach me alot about how they work
  19. It's a clone saw, been chatting with the maker on Facebook. Couple of bits are stihl parts rest is copy but decent quality. Was gonna do one myself but the bits come to almost £300 so haven't yet
  20. Yeah I need to know whether to squeeze another job in tomorrow afternoon or not
  21. Yeah definitely takes planning and having plenty in reserve. Thats what puts me off the new electric stuff as well, the convenience of being able to pop the the nearest garage and £6 later you're good to carry on.
  22. Behave! Noone in their right mind is going to stop a day's work and mess up their schedule loosing hundreds for the sake of buying some petrol and getting on with it??
