  1. I've no experience of the 130 or the petrol 150 (have used the diesel version) but on paper you'd be mad not to pay a little extra for the extra power? How much is the petrol 150?
  2. I've seen this come up on Facebook before and some people have done it themselves for under a grand in parts plus their time apparently. Doesn't look too hard to do as the planks slot together
  3. No of course running off isn't the way to go, I was thinking maybe you're new to the industry and needed the experience anyway. I'd imagine the only way to go is to get a regular climber to work for you while you build a client base and get all the equipment together. I think it'll be tough if you cant climb though, I don't know anyone who didn't start their business without doing the climbing
  4. What do you do now? Are you new to the trade? Could you not get employed by the bigger companies and get tickets that way?
  5. I agree, big let down. My dad had a 97 entec version and it's identical to the 160 (apart from the colour), same chassis, but bigger engine and has an engine cover
  6. If there was no copyright protection we'd still be driving model t's because why would anyone invest time and money developing new products of someone will just copy and undercut you anyway because they've not spent the money developing it in the first place Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Because GM spent the time and money developing a machine for someone to copy it and steal sales Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. I reckon they fitted that engine because the 'designer' (copy and paste button) saw greenmech used that engine and as the rest of the machine is a rip off... Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. They're marketing the range as an endurance range so guess built to last? If there's a new smaller ground saw 50cc plus I'll be a buyer Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. Belt tension ok? If loose it could be slipping a bit so slowing the flywheel quicker
  11. Do copy t540s exist? Thought it was just older gen saws
  12. Hmm. Can't see any possible way it would come off on its own. Hope it's not my one that went walking one night! That one I had cursed to kickback on anyone that uses it!!
  13. Just above the chaincatcher on mine. The year is beginning of the serial number so mines a 2014
  14. Manual can be got from timberwolf site. Yes the flywheel will be hard to turn as it's attached to the stationary engine via the belts. Yeah that sounds right on the infeed from memory but sold mine 2 years ago so could be wrong
  15. My understanding of buying a business is profits is what you are left with after you would pay yourself, or a manager to run it for you, market value. Otherwise all you're really doing is paying out to have a job, profits would be zero and the business therefor worthless. In this case it's 36k to have a job where the last guy earned 40k. Poor investment unless the tools are worth that much
  16. I'd imagine that's wage drawn, not profits??
  17. just had a quick google and the Nissan leaf has a range of 155 miles and that takes 9.5 hours to fully charge. That's for a small car. Imagine the range and charge time for a van weighing over 4 ton? cant see it being feasible until major improvements are made in the technology. I think it'll happen eventually and its the way to go. Can this be done before the deadline the government imposed? I have big doubts
  18. These are a medium and fit perfect. I'm a 32 32 in jeans. Although brought posh trousers from next last week and needed a 36?!?
  19. Can't see anyone buying an electric van anytime soon except big companies making a green statement. Whole point of a van is to move stuff around and electric ones just won't have the range required surely?
  20. Got them. First impressions, they spot on. The hivis is very bright and the material feels thick there. They've got an elasticated bit around the ankles for keeping sawdust out which I've not come across before. Front pocket has moved to the side which I think will be better as never used it there before as felt exposed and the new phone pocket is waterproof and fits my galaxy s7 perfectly. Don't think you'd get a phablet in there though. The buttons are now a popper and a catch so hopefully no more losing buttons
  21. Hopefully someone starts making 4250 tippers that won't need an o licence then!
  22. Yeah app was good. Have had to delete it today as driving me crazy when click a link on Google or even on here and it'll try to open in the app
  23. I'll get some photos when they turn up
  24. https://arbtalk.co.uk/discover/ is what I'm using for latest posts, works fine
