  3. I was just glad to get it out the way, took a bit of effort craning it out
  4. Damn sold all this for a drink the other week
  5. I've got standard 360 cpcs which I get away with. Most of our work on railways is enabling works for infrastructure upgrades. I rarely go near the tracks as wading through brambles and chipping endless hawthorn sounds like torture

    Where are you based?
  8. From a quick glance it seems that you share a lot generic fb things going around. Which is good if your like farming but does,t really reflect or enable the customer to get to know you and your work. Feel free to criticise mine https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rose-Tree-Care-Ltd/130577703648671
  9. Unless he does every house in a street of bungalows I doubt it
  10. Also subbies should get paid at end of week, especially on sub 150£ As someone said on another thread if you can't sub staff a few hundred quid so they can eat before you get paid then the job is to big for you
  11. I heard a few stories of tippers and high sided tippers having void insurance. Aviva sent me a signed letter confirming they knew it was a high sided tipper and used for carrying chips. Long as it never ways more than 3.5ton and I can't see that happening I also have any driver insurance which is handy
  12. Aviva multicar Fleets expensive Shame you missed out on my truck would have been a nice addition to your fleet
  13. We use Subbie climbers I usually climb alongside them for multiple dismantles etc The ones who are good and there are few of them, I think deserve way more than £150. Personally I like everyone to get there fair slice of cheddar and then there more likely to help you out when your in a tight spot. If there good they will make you good money and deserve to reap those benefits
  14. " 'This forum is for information sharing, not criticising." Thanks for branding my comments earlier which where based on actual experience as silly
  15. Any H+S shop should do this, BACA at northampton would be your one
  16. I've inquired about hiring and was ridiculously expansive in comparison to my local dealer, and if you accidentally mention you need a short notice they really rip you off
  17. Do a land search costs 4£
  18. If its insulated crack on
  19. I'd of thought having a micro digger and grab would be far more versatile
  20. You might only be down the road from me but round here girls don't drop there inhibition for the smell of two stroke and sawdust. Perhaps I should widen me patch a bit
  21. Climbing is the easiest job on site, you get the glamour and glory and swing a bit cut a bit wait a bit while under paid over beasted groundes drag branches and wrestle logs while you watch on with a birds eye view
  22. Forestry is harder and a lot more dangerous. Any climber who disagrees has never done forestry on peice work.
  23. Not watching that got a big takedown to do tommorow
  24. If you look in arbjobs there's some cracking full time jobs with great money and you knock of at 5 and leave all the worries to someone else
