  1. Use Aviva for all mine Really good and also there online site is good for adding drivers changing policies etc Transit tipper 08 plate any driver Ford ranger 53 plate any driver VW passatt me and misses + business use £1,500 Also they sent me a letter confirming they knew the tipper was a tipper and high sided as I hear this can be a excuse to get out of claiming
  2. Bush this year
  3. The next town from me does something similar. They use a consultant as there tree officer who's office is part of a local AAC contractor. Sure there's no conflict of intrest there at all.
  4. We had it on borrow for a week before I bought it and had grapple put on. It's got a 2.5tonne hitch on it so takes bigger buckets which I have mixed feelings on. It can take a big ditcher which is good for shifting grindings and a big grapple but time will see if weights a problem. I would strap it down but need to fit a bucket rest as already marked the galvanising on the trailer
  5. Just picked this bought this as a selfie Christmas present, to save my back on takedowns
  6. That's been for sale for a while, I asked will woods about it a few times I thought the 30k asking was a bit steep
  7. Trees: Their Natural History by P. A. Thomas Very readable and informative
  8. My dad's had one for years, I've never really liked it. The gear box feels aweful I'm sure it's going to disintegrate anytime soon but it's been like that for ages. It stalls easy. Had injector trouble and I know something big went bang in the engine but I wasn't told full story for fear of gloating. I find the seats uncomfortable. Flimsy plastic interior, He's successfully used it for weekend gypsying including all round Europe and there caravan is pretty big. Seems alright it mud, towed my ranger out of trouble a few times
  9. I'm comparing it to my 50b which is probably a poor comparison
  10. I have thought of this but with a jcb you lack any lifting height that you would get with a 360 and quite a narrow range you could work in without having to move the machine. I thought about turning my 50b into a arb machine with grapple on front and log grapple but wasn't worth the effort
  11. Hmmm shows the size difference. Think I might notice a drop in capability
  12. The easiest way to start a fire is a slop of diesel, just a slop and don't spill any else it smells. No kinderling no firefighters no faff. Instant heat. I keep a old 2 stroke bottle with red in by back door
  13. Matthew We're just contemplating a tb016 Do you recommend a cab? As the one I'm looking at is cabless and I do prefere heating and radio in my usual hack which is kubota 8 toner. And also how do you rate them as a arb machine with grapple? ie reach lift etc does it wrattle your bones if you drive with furry like small machines can? Who's your grapple from? Digbits wanted 550+vat which seemed steep to me
  14. The Fc used to issue standard costings for things like that as part of ewgs Might be worth looking through old help things online

    Smokers.

I'm addicted to nicotine gum, not smoked in months been of and on the gum for years.
  16. That was on sale on earborist for ages
  17. You really need legal representation for court. I defended myself once and the court legal chap pointed out my original offence was void due to the copper jotting it down wrong but in my defence I incriminated my self. Good legal buff would sort it bit only the wealthy can afford justice
  18. There's one for sale in the back if FJ
  19. On the tailgate then when you need it fold it down and keep it flat with a bit of rope like in a 4x4 pickup
  20. Personally I stretch to a 2 tonne more lift But don't seem to be many around
  21. Grapple Rotator ways more and you loose height on a 1.5 toner
  22. Lost thousands over them years
  23. Topped?
  24. Nice find
  25. Possibly as I imagine it won't depreciate much, I do think there is a big diffrence between a 150 and 190 I would hate to go back to big connie bashing with a 150 so I'm hoping the 230 will be best of both
