  1. Before you look at a second hand one get a price on a brand new. From my eBay searches recently on eBay there's only a few hundred quids diffrence between ropey old and box fresh new if your in vat club
  2. Great news, we do a lot of work that was and often struggle for stuff. Also always found you guys great for spares and advice over the phone
  3. There's a large civics company which rhymes with souther sweetie who have departments just to find ways of not paying you. Or so it seems I've heard every excuse from plausible to laughable
  4. I'm owed 15k net at the moment which for a one man and one muppet team is quite a lot. Also a lot if that money is for stuff I've had to pay the invoices for already like semi mature trees, 360's labour etc The difference i can do 1k days on commercial but with domestic it's hardly half that and the jobs are less enjoyable
  5. The weight of the climber in a bigtree is like a fly on camels back. Rigging however does stress the tree. If you were in a mewp and the tree does collapse it just means your fall from a mewp instead as the tree drops on the mewp causing even more devastation. Un less you had a massive one that came from the side and top That tree to me looks totes safe to climb and do a little dance in
  6. I can wheelie my jcb when I forget to pull the bucket it and drop the Revs before pulling off
  7. I've had a offer for £500 Ideally I want the lot gone in a oner Would be need to be soon too

  10. We're tree surgeons, just take a sliver of cash mountain when the vet bills roll in Insurance is a waste, if you love your dog you'll find the money, usually under your mattress
  11. What sort of money are they
  12. Your earning to much dan buying all these gizmos
  13. Tata is indian and owned by the same people who make tetley tea
  14. Spotted at top of Cairn Gorm in scotland
  15. Sounds expensive
  16. Those bolts are terrible, I hate changing them and they can always take a in determinant amount of time and cut and bruised fingers. I did a speed change on out 190 this morning 10 mins and was breeze. Thats why our 150 now gathers dust
  17. I've just switched to the RAC after the AA hiked mine up and also said they would not cover any van they suspect it being used for business or any trailer unless its caravan. RAC was 140 for me on a buissness policy and I had to take out a caravan policy for the trailer. That covers me and the misses in any car were in and from home and delivery to anywhere in UK
  18. And apparently its so they blunt quicker????
  19. I just had this discussion with Saturn machine knives at the Arb show
  20. Weren't they on telly for some program about connies a year or so back
  21. Check spout on our tw190 the spout has been welded and bodhed the flappy bit on the end bit was all out of shape and the chip went all over the place. Having replaced with a new one it fires the stuff nice and cleanly
  22. There fine to climb with out to much bouncing around I once dismantled a massive one and sectional felled the top which twisted and tore down and pulling me into the stem hard by my strop. Resulted in a very bruised hips and penis. Won't forget that one lesson learnt is keep cutting on the back cut. I'll try and find a photo if anyone likes
