  1. Joe i'm fairly certain it's merely a sticker with an X on it and that's it really! Ohh i enquired about importing a new CS2511 from the saw king in Oregon USA but with all the porting and muff mods and postage it came in at over £920 (GBP!) so i thought better of it!!
  2. we thought yew'd never git here! Welcome pard.
  3. she must've put those jeans on with an aerosol can!
  4. they don't loike it up 'em.
  5. Spotted this deudder day. Chap chopped it and shortened the body to make it into a pickup. J plate, 6 cylinder 2.8 TD it sounded lovely. I had to laugh at the roof bars!
  6. get on Eggs. Me and the missus are eggsited fer ya!
  7. more or less snowed in up here and i will not risk going out.
  8. gotta link to it on ebay?
  9. so what ya drivin' at the moment then?
  10. 23 hoss power! now that'd be useful. My ole Greenmech micro chipper was only 14 hp but very effective.
  11. I've not encountered this yet. My air filter cover fell off a few times which was annoying so i drilled a small hole thru it and used a cable tie to secure it.
  12. dunno why yer hung up on economy as they will all guzzle a bit when used as intended. I never consider economy as i just keep filling them up and earning.
  13. i not agreeing to anyting!
  14. i kind of disagree as a Cabstar carries weight legally as opposed to better in my not so humble onion. Transit for me as they are cheap to buy and run, spares are so easy to get (the same day usually) and they have a bigger cab fer voluptuous lads loike meself. If i was city working it'd be an Isuzu Grafter i reckon, better turning circle and easier to park.
  15. depends on what you mean, i have a Transit that can physically hold a lot of chip but it would be overweight if i was to do so.... A cabstar and grafter can probably carry more chip legally versus a transit. Your choice as to how you want to play it.
  16. gotta be a Grafter or a Cabstar for city driving and max payload.
  17. great idea but splash thru a puddle or ford a shallow stream and watch all the pollution running down stream as you drive thru. I prefer proper underseal like Waxoyl as it does not wash off easily like old or new enjun oil.
  18. Ok i spoke to Ariens recently and emailed them yesserday. They rang me this morning and they are collecting the 2511 from my nearby dealer (who is only 15 mins away) it'll be assessed at HQ and then they will inform me as to what the next course of action is. So far i have been impressed with the local dealers and Ariens willingness to help out when it comes to issues with kit, 4 years ago they offered me all my money back or a brand new replacement saw after i had a few exhaust issues on my CS360TES.
  19. thas yummy. I tink they have diff locks as standard? There is also this on FB. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/614919932285658
  20. good advice right there.
  21. Mine has migrated outwards and the threads are stripped rendering the saw useless. Apparently it's a known issue and I've spoken to Ariens about it. There may be a solution in the pipeline. Oil keep ye updated.
  22. Annie Mac on Radio 2. Perfect fir me to wobble to as I tinker about with kit in me garage.
  23. look at this madness. https://www.google.com/search?q=&tbm=isch&tbs=rimg:CRkcXBUXsrCIIjiIQPId5yc08doLx2OCKFU9hhsPLxh2kdXO6THjiVDDjaSpaJvh0Su4louUYsyqr6_1NGEcnqYJqUCoSCYhA8h3nJzTxEZZTQTlsrE_1-KhIJ2gvHY4IoVT0RKmHf3jMXNJoqEgmGGw8vGHaR1RG_1yRcchsqQmioSCc7pMeOJUMONEcrGtOH6PjiVKhIJpKlom-HRK7gRrKcg_1tDBj_1EqEgmWi5RizKqvrxF0I4KWkuYMoioSCc0YRyepgmpQEVBRtAoLixMC&tbo=u&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiT8eqNwtrfAhWuxYUKHRYqABwQ9C96BAgBEBs&biw=1366&bih=626&dpr=1#imgrc=oH0Qhn9Eze0DUM:
  24. it amazes me that even when wearing close fitting safety specs the Petzl Vizir and mesh visor that long thin twigs can literally bypass all the eye protection somehow and touch up against your eyeball! 3 defensive layers breached! I have since removed the Pezl Vizir as i don't like it / get on with it.
