  2. really sorry to hear it luke that you have to give up. but i give you all my best in the new adventure
  3. i ran a renault master with a crane on it that would lift 1.5 ton for a year super on fuel would do 42.9mpg easy on a good run staying at 55mph would do 50mpg got pics to prove. as for weight carrying it was a double cab and with the crane legal payload of 920kg with me and half a tank of diesel. but would regular chuck 1500kg on the back of it and still wont sluggish but was a 120bhp model master. had 2 full pallets of turf on the back of it and still pulled strong and kept pulling the same as the iveco daily and that only had half a pallet of turf on. as for towing never got around to fitting a tow bar and trying it and it got written of by a head on collision. had a transit befor and the master was more faster and not as dead with weight on. down sides with the 2 pallets of turf was very twitchy/ floaty at 60/70mph compared to drw drive

  12. so 8 liters a hour on full throttle for the petrol jensen and we all know chippers have to be at full throttle to chip so at a pound a litter 8 pound a hour that ouch money on bigger jobs and at the end of the week a fair size bill
  13. honey brothers Fr Jones Northern arb supplies and buxtons have all got deals going on for the racist weekday lol
  14. got some the other day with their board out showing the speed and i slowed right down and shouted that no good to me only do double digit and i and aiming for the full ton 100mph then took of with the biggest wheel spin the truck could do and fast as i could do then came back by in a hour and stopped and asked if i got the magic 100
  15. it be coming to the point you be buying a chipper minus a engine and sticking a lump of your own to it. petrol is expensive and burns up quicker especially compared to red diesel cost and the on about this emission malarkey stand next to a petrol exhaust and i bet you will feel nauseous quicker than standing next to a diesel
