  3. to me my mates 5 year old 395xp is a better saw more grunt it seems to have and more pointable when blocking down n putting gobs in.

  5. dont know if it's me or the saw got to run in as its only had 5 tanks of fuel in it but just seems to be lacking in power don't seem much more aggressive than my 365

  7. my 661c is 3 months old now and feels dead in power wise compared to to a mates 5 year old 395xp, my 661c wasnt started for a month i use aspen anyway in it but it just keep flooding it self and finally got it to start 45 minutes later haver about 60 pulls no joke. if it wasnt the fact my one was a stupid bargain new i would have been sorely disappointed with it. running the 30 inch set up

  9. i have had one for 2 years still going strong got more grunt than out ms211 and it regular deals with 10 to 12 inch timber i bought it use them for hedge work and chipper saw but have found as its light and got some grunt for a little saw it gets used more and more often for trimming stuff up on the deck to felling small domestic trees £190 i got my one for and rate it well

  11. since the site is been open its cut fly tipping of tree and garden waste by 65%. Its a pull in and tip off but open from 9am to 4pm it saves the council sending guys out clearing it up then getting rid of it. got to be working as its now on its 2nd year of running

  15. get a dosko chipper very basic but heavy duty and last for years and not much need to snedd as the 11x11 feed throat for a 6 inch chipper
  16. phone them for a new quote and say it's a log processor it make logs for garden ornaments

  18. right I'm going for the plunge and going to order a few chains to try out as been using other cheap chains and have had 4 snap in about 3 months and one of them was today and was only on the saw for 2 days. So will report back on how these go See if i can get a freebie of some sort by mention arbtalk lol
  19. ne better of with a little husqvarna 135 great little saw plenty of power built well and about £190 new
  20. looks like dragon by buxtons they have stopped selling the helmets on there website i won one the other week and its a near on identical copy of the kask and stein ones
  21. if your a hippy against chemicals diy approach salt and white vinegar works but not a nice smell really or a pro product that again its all natural https://www.pitchcare.com/shop/professional-total-weed-killers/new-way-weed-spray.html or any glyphosate 360 product will do but you may have to keep spraying every month/ 6 weeks or get katana or paradise expensive but will keep the weeds at bay for 6 months
  22. get onto horizon utility supplies there acutely not as expensive then you think i got my set from them 6 poles bag lopper saw and hook for around the £450 mark
  23. i have a alpha delta stump grinder basically a rock machine with different engine and colour there ok i got mine for under 900 new as the guy put a few on ebay without reserves would i have paid the full £1400 the answer would be no. You be better of buying a older dosko or rayco with 20hp engines and would do bigger stumps a lot better. I have done some 26inch cherry stumps with my alpha one but its hard work and slow going there ok up to 16inch\18inch stumps after that get a bigger machine. alpha delta offers for a tad more money a 14hp kohler engine and alpha teeth are 84 pound where rock machinery are 120 pound a set
  24. clinic ace 360 glyphosate about 28 pound a gallon to buy 350ml into 12liters of water will do nicely
