  1. don't know anyone local who has one to try a comparison and local dealer who looked at is wasn't the person i bought it from. it might just be me thinking its not as good as i hoped it to be, as im comparing it to a 395xp ported
  2. really i only use the saw on 26inch wide plus bits of wood sharpened each day well the night before work and around lunch time again if needed. the bogging / feel of less power to me seem to com in at 28inch to full bar burry deep.
  3. 30 inch bar 3/8 1.6mm mix of felling and rigging up, conifer , beech, poplar ash, and willow and horse chestnut
  4. there got to be something to try and get a bit more from the saw. the saw had done three 5 litre cans of aspen so u would have thought it done its bedin period and should open up a bit more on power but still runs like day one
  5. silenced .410 shotgun can get them on the run with the spread noise is low do to the silencer and being a .410 not to much power for shot going to far
  6. saws been looked at and runs exactly how they supposed to and to be honest its ran the same from the first tank. but just seems a little slower in the cut and lessy grunty than a 395xp ported. So it could just be me feeling like its not performing as i would hoped
  7. right so had my 661 a little while now well about 9 months seems to be a little underpowered personal to me. So anyone had there 661 ported or got more power from it in some way or another
  8. most of very thing this day and age they rely on people with no capital in example most people haven't got like £700 pound spare just to buy a mobile phone but they got to have it as its the latest model and keep up there flash image status to of they go to like of a phone shop yes you can have that phone you want for £45 pound a month over a 24 month contract is over a £1000 pound for the 2 years. In the call and data and that you get you could easy get for for 15 pound a month sim only deal for same amount of time and the rest of it so in reality there not doing you a favor/ giving you a deal as your paying for the phone but just over 24 months
  9. if you want the police to attend anything just mention a gun they have to respond with in a hour of any call about a firearm even if its someone standing in a field shooting pigeon. so i would say get the address then say to the police you went to the address to buy your stolen saw back and they threatened you with a gun or while you where buying something off him you noticed a sawn of shotgun in the corner police will be there very quick. know this of experience freind of mine was getting his shed broken into phoned police they said wouldn't be able to get there for 4 hours minimum they guys are still in his shed he hangs up the phone call back 2 minutes later saying don't bother turning up i've sorted it i have shot them with in 10 minutes 3 cars with armed response officers turn in his garden and catches the thieves red handed. but gave my mate a strong warning of making false report calls to the police. he replied with you told me you couldnt spare a officer for 4 hours so who was also telling false information and said you can turn up if you want to but you chose not to to have a easy day just give a crime number out

    Dolmar

anyone looking for a old dolmar there one on shpock its a 133 for £60 pounds at corby looks alright condition and it says it runs think there about the same spec as a modern 461 in power wise
  12. send me your details over know a few guys looking for subbies to cover areas like wisbech march peterborough kings lynn spalding so thats sort of area
  13. i have one there in broad style i would go for a 395xp if you buying new there out orad but pisses all over the 661 in the cut, have to admit my 661 is nice as the vibs are less and its lighter but i wished i got a 395xp to be honest as it a little disappointing in the power wise but a overall improvement of a 660
  14. HB20 fantastic machine see 5ft stumpd done in 3 and a bit hours small enough to fit in most gardens and capable on doing bigger stumps and if needs a bigger machine hire in one as when needed
  15. thanks for sorting me out with a anti spill nozzle for the sapen cans
  16. been working in the wet well rain today and the water just beads of it nice and dry on the inside i was today
  17. there got them on show offer for a week at £35 pound at the moment just got one at the show i say you will struggle to find better for the money.
  18. why Don't the AA do a Northern show you got norther suppliers up there like skyland gustharts and many more thats probable missing out attending a even do to logistical / traveling nightmares
  19. the show layout and parking a lot better thumbs up for that one. the climbing competition was set up good and i enjoyed Watching it. show as more spread out with plenty of walking space without physically trying to avoid bumping into people so another plus. a few newer exhibitors of bigger kit. down side lack of choice to shop with especially on arb small equipment like saws hedge cutters and other hand held machinery even though i did place a order with forest and arb. was shocked that they had no stock of any hand held machinery i bought with them. i noticed there was no echo stand like last year no honey brother no lister wilder no fr jones no trex/landforce stand and im sure there is a few more i never seen that was there last year to me the show came across more open but less physically there and some stands smaller in size too i know i wast the only one feeling like this countless people of the various facebook groups say the same. but even though 157 mile drive each way i came and spent money and was happy to a degree almost didn't decide to go on from feed back from friends dont waste my time driving to go this year
  20. since december having a 2511tes find im using it more often now as its not dragging the bar about and very capable but i dont think its as robust / though at taking knocks as the 360 as i have to had the throttle safety lock fixed already as it got fell in when topping out a conny hedge,
  21. looking/ wanting a smaller profile bar to fit in tighter areas and wanna get it down to 10 inch bar as sound stupid i have small legs and when on my harness and going up or coming down tip of the bar drags the ground 14inch
  22. rob is there a sugi bar available / kit Available to convert my echo cs360tes from 3/8th to 1/4 pitch bar and chain and sprocket any anything with a sprocket nose for the 2511 tes available but keeping a thin bar similar to the carving bar
  23. honeys have a price on them on there website
