Over night 7th/8th feb a uk log master (kalipi tuiko) firewood processor and trailer were stolen from a farm near Micheldever apparently there are only five of these machines in the country, if anyone gets offered one please let me know. Its not mine it belongs to someone on another forum i visit. Thanks Egg

I have local tree surgeon that drops of arisings in my yard for free he asked me if i would be intrested in taking the woodchip of him also for free, i was just wondering if there was any money in it? and if i can bag it up the same day as he brings it in then sell it on at a profit? is there any sort of chippings i should stay away from ie conni and the likes? thanks Egg.

  10. Can't help with where to get one from, but be carefull when cutting them off anything, i did it many years ago the strap sprung open and the buckle it me in the mouth, bust one of my front teeth in two very painful and very expensive dental job:thumbdown:

  16. i've been given a fs44 thats a non runner, the bloke that gave it to me said it would run but when he turned the choke off it would cut out, so he had a fiddle with the settings on the carb:thumbdown: now it won't start at all, does anyone know a starting point for resetting the carb, ie screw in both screws then turn back x amount of turns etc. Thanks in advance.   18. Hi Peter, im looking at getting some timber moved from Norwich to Sudbury Suffolk, could you help with your truck if so what sort of money would we be looking at and how many tonne can you get on at a time. Thanks Simon.

My advice (for what its worth) is if youve got to get a processor on finance is DONT DO IT, you,ll be working for next to nothing, firewood is hard enough work to make a profit at the moment as the price of cordwood is going silly in some parts, never mind paying a loan back on the machine, stick with a saw bench and splitter, unless you have access to your own cord that is.
