  4. i've been given a fs44 thats a non runner, the bloke that gave it to me said it would run but when he turned the choke off it would cut out, so he had a fiddle with the settings on the carb:thumbdown: now it won't start at all, does anyone know a starting point for resetting the carb, ie screw in both screws then turn back x amount of turns etc. Thanks in advance. Egg
  5. I know we have a no name and shame policy but i think this needs looking at in these very serious circumstances, the damn woman wants stoning:001_tt2:
  6. Hi Peter, im looking at getting some timber moved from Norwich to Sudbury Suffolk, could you help with your truck if so what sort of money would we be looking at and how many tonne can you get on at a time. Thanks Simon.

  7. My advice (for what its worth) is if youve got to get a processor on finance is DONT DO IT, you,ll be working for next to nothing, firewood is hard enough work to make a profit at the moment as the price of cordwood is going silly in some parts, never mind paying a loan back on the machine, stick with a saw bench and splitter, unless you have access to your own cord that is.
  8. I think what Tommer was saying was in jest, read Mr Bullmans thread titled "be nice"

  16. Any one else suffering this? its only started today, its taking an age to go from one page to the next, or from one forum to the next.
  17. A mate of mine as just been over and told me that he was following a truck up the A14 at Kentford on Thursday when he saw the truck lose the chipper off the back, anyone on here guilty?
  18. I think if you look in to strike action over the years (i can say this coming from a mining back ground) the actual 1 to 2 day strikes are not to bring production/deliverys to a stand still but to bring to attention of goverment/employers that they cant just walk over the working class tax payer, and raise the profile of the matter to the press who are a tool in these matters be we like it or not.this from an employer and tax payer
  19. So we do nothing then Dave and go out of business because we cant afford to put fuel in trucks/plant and so on, theres only so much we can pass on to the customer before they say we,ll have to leave the job for know has we cant afford to have it done at that price.
  20. Deliver logs come home take a look at Arbtalk, go back out deliver logs come home take a look at Arbtalk, so basically inbetween deliverys i go online if theres nothing to do up at the yard, and at the moment were up to speed so more Arbtalk than work thats why im online during work hours.
