  1. As your story tells, its not big or clever to put live cartridges in to a trip mine/alarm imo.
  2. can of beans and opened, spring to mind:001_tt2:
  3. John i dont want to injure anyone, thats a lie, i do at the moment(the rouges who stole my gear) but back to the reason for the cctv/mine,is i just want to capture thier image/number plates and give them a scare at the same time.
  4. If you have orders to fulfill then take it at the price youve been quoted, cut it, log it, sell it (at the right price) and take your money, happy days:thumbup:
  5. Hi John, i believe what you say is true, but after speaking to the chap at solway feeders this afternoon he assurse me that there is nothing illegal in owning/using these mines to protect game from poachers/pest,which in my situation is fine,as the shed i rent is on a shooting estate(sorry ocifer was just trying to protect the phesants from the foxes) may not wash in the eyes of the law, but at the moment i dont really care how the old bill look at it.
  6. Thanks for that, remote cctv & alarm mine ordered and all for under a hundred quid, i might not be there to hear them go off but i will be able to see them run for thier lives(over and over again) on my new cctv unit.
  7. my thoughts exactly, is there any kind of remote cctv (ie powered from a battery)? as there is no power supply in the shed also someone on here mentioned some sort of shotgun cartridge/tripwire, i think it was refered to as a poachers mine, would anybody know where you can get these from? thanks Egg
  8. no it is not,but i swore properly in a thread earlier titled thieving scum, so thought id better keep me head down:sneaky2:
  9. Processor is at home in the garage, tractor as been moved into one of the main barns on the farm where my landlord stores all his plant, what a pain in the arse:thumbdown:
  10. Know then Dave, yes the tools were all marked up, but theres still about 15 hundread quids worth missing, and about a grands worth of copper just to rub salt in the wound:thumbdown:
  11. Hi Garth, theres a guy on here called Cracker (i think) who put up some nice pics of chestnut gates that he makes, i think he was down in Devon.
  12. Called in at my yard this afternoon on the way back from having lunch, yes you guessed it the shed has been turned over, tractor, processor untouched, the only thing that seems to be missing is the tool box and a small amount of copper i was going to weigh in. All the trouble of forcing the doors for a few hand tools? wish i could get my hands on the thieving bastards.
  13. Congratulations, all the best Egg

  19. how many punters did she have to do the deed with to earn that much:001_tt2:
  20. Your right stevie when i wrote that i thought of what my old man used to say to me, saying that i do allright at my business and a guess you do at yours, so it might sound old fashioned but it works, and were living prove of that.
  21. The fact is this Stevie if the boy wants more money he his going to have to work more hours, if he likes it or not, the same as the rest of us had to when we first started out. I assume you built up your business when you were younger by working as and when required, its just the way of the world when your young.
  22. It may not solve the problem of me time but it will solve the shortage of money(half of the problem solved) until the boy as learned his trade, and it is not unheard off for people to have more than one job to make up a living wage.
