  1. Why haven’t they terminated his contract then?
  2. I protested in Matlock last week, there was a grand total of 18 of us, when was the last time you took to the streets to protest? I’d dare bet you never have.
  3. I’m saying the rhetoric is similar. Now, tell us what you’ve done to oppose what’s happened over the couple of years, apart from banging your gums on here.
  4. It’s quite similar really, 1930’s Germany wanted to cleanse Europe, the likes of SB are talking a similar language today. Anyway back to Lineker and the BBC, how long before the chair (the bloke who facilitated BJ’s loan) resigns. I’ve got a tenner says it’s in the next week, fancy a bet?
  5. It bothers me not, I don’t watch TV, millions do watch MOTD, and tonight they can’t find a commentator, and it’s alleged other football commentators are pulling out of the BBC in solidarity. This subject might be a non event for you… but I thought you were all for free speech, or is that only when it suits you?
  6. Basically the BBC have caved in to the conservative government because they don’t like what he’s said. Impartial my arse.
  7. Let’s get this right, you have to be impartial to work for the BBC, lineker slates government policy and gets a yellow card, Sugar compares Corbyn to Hitler and he’s still good to go. Something doesn’t add up.
  8. To say free speech hasn’t been stifled is up for debate, he broke the rules and that’s fair enough. It is funny how some commentators/presenters get away with it on the BBC mind. Andrew Marr left because he couldn’t speak his mind. He’s now on commercial radio where he can give his point of view.
  9. There’s no use knocking if no one is home.
  10. So do we in the Uk, but if laws are made to stop people applying for asylum from their own countries they will get here by boats. Some joined up thinking is needed. With the likes of SB in charge (who can’t answer questions at an enquiry) I can’t see that happening. Can you?
  11. Read up on Australian immigration law before you comment on it, (my brother was one until he.married an Ozzy) their points system takes a lot of reading to understand. It’s not as simple as you might think. Many immigrants get to stay.
  12. I’ll just leave this here. Home Secretary Unable To Explain Legal Route To The UK For A Vulnerable Migrant WWW.POLITICSHOME.COM Home Secretary Suella Braverman has struggled to explain how a teenage...
  13. You’ve gone down a rabbit hole you can’t get out of, I’ll bid you good evening.
  14. You’d know.
  15. Your opinion bothers me not, in fact, I think you are a fool. Refugees and asylum-seekers: UK policy - House of Lords Library LORDSLIBRARY.PARLIAMENT.UK In 2021, the government said that “as a force for good in the world” the UK would...
  16. No. you come across as someone who would know which countries citizens are excluded. probably best to do your own homework if you don’t know. It’s all out there to view.
  17. I know Mark, and I’m a bit tongue in in cheek, and English is a second language for a lot of people, speaking the lingo must help? My point is, if you make laws that make it impossible to apply for asylum from certain countries, they will travel over land and cross the busiest shipping lane in the world to get here.
  18. If you want to talk sense, I’m here to listen, people from some war torn countries can not get a legal way here, so they come by boat along with a load of illegals, because they have no way of applying for asylum until they are here. I’m sure you are to dim to see where it’s going wrong. And before you say it isn’t going wrong, illegal immigrant numbers are rising year on year.
  19. He didn’t mention Nazis, he compared it to 1930’s Germany. Six and two threes maybe, but not quite the same.
  20. Play being the operative word here.
  21. … by the BBC, Wrighty and Shearer are now saying they won’t be on Match of the day. Time for change at the BBC, or right that football commentators should stay out of politics on social media?
  22. That’s the article I was reading, it’s just up the road from my old stomping ground. Thump does the sarcasm better than me.
  23. https://newsthump.com/
  24. From the wine cellar to the lounge, one wouldn’t expect anything less.
