  1. Another fool, send me your, and your mates postcode, I’ll nip up to see you.
  2. Give me a call to let me know how she gets on. His apologies don’t count, he should hold his lip. One day someone will do him, he doesn’t think so but it will come to him.
  3. Thank ya, Mark. It should do well, I just want other people to pay for it for.a few years until my pension kicks in. I’ve only got a small mortgage that could/should be paid off by the time I need it. I’ll live in my ‘van until then. I’ve read the nightmares about Airbnb, just wanted some firsthand information. Unfortunately that prick has to front up all the time.
  4. Thank you, a bit of positivity goes a long way.
  5. Why not, it’s my place and I’ll do what I want with it.? All I asked was does anyone do Airbnb m.
  6. It’s the same here, I could rent it out at £750/month, or Airbnb it at £150/night, obviously Airbnb is more work but I’ve bought it as an investment that I need the best return on. The only benefit I’ve got is an address of my own.
  7. Fair play, I posted that I’d just got a new place, he posted, words to the affect, that no one needed to know this shit. He should Keep the feck out of it if he’s nothing pleasant to say.
  8. Thanks for confirming it, I always thought you were a nice fella, just a bit dim.
  9. See you round, like an Orange.
  10. You can’t help setting your lip up, as I told you in that pm, one day someone will swing your jaw if you aren’t careful. Probably best to keep out of my posts from now on.
  11. Thank ya, it’s good to to have my own address, not using other peoples.
  12. Thanks Spud, it's somewhere to call home, which I haven't had for a while.
  13. Any need, trig? You really are a knob.
  14. No, but I came off a crosser a while back, ripped my knee and hands to bits, guess we've just got to get on.

Well, sort of. I’ve bought a place, I don’t know if I want to live here full time though. It’s in a nice town where Airbnb seems to do well, anyone do Airbnb, if so, pros and cons?
  16. I wore that to death during a few winters, handy under my wets. Good quality, the only downside as a consumer was no zip on the pockets. Did these make money @Steve Bullman?
  17. Give me a oner and move it on then, everyone is happy.
  18. Just found this in a box of stuff I stored in our kids loft years ago, it stinks. As much as I liked it it’s going in the bin.
  19. Perhaps prison is to easy these days, no slopping out and nothing more than a radio back in the day. It didn’t matter how much private cash you had in your prison account you could only spend £20/week in the canteen. That said, the same faces were always doing the rounds.
  20. Indeed, many are reoffenders, so 23 hour bang up doesn’t work. If there was enough prison staff to try to rehabilitate these folk perhaps things might change? That doesn’t change the fact that our prisons are at bursting point. What should be done in the short term to resolve the problem?
  21. You sound like my old fella 35 years ago.
  22. Our prisons will be completely full by July, a summer of rioting? Whats the answer, more prisons, or send less people to jail? If it’s more prisons, where should they be built?
  23. This is going to be tedious. I didn’t know about them, the boss man is part of a franchise, another franchisee was retiring, it was agreed the boss could stray into the next area to do the pumps, no other drainage work. He posted on a Facebook (drainage) group that I’m a member of saying he wanted a pump engineer in the North Staffs, Sourh Cheshire area. At the time I had itchy feet and was after a move. It made sense, he’d got the pump stations, I’d draw a wage off him.
  24. Rock and a hard place, Joe. I need him as much as he needs me. He pays every week on time. In November 2021 he took on 162 pumping stations over three industrial estates that aren't far from here, and to be fair they are money for old rope. He just needs to leave me alone to look after them.
  25. Who are you to argue, if you are the more experienced person I’d say it’s your place to put your point across. We knew the diameter and the length of the riser, I told him draining it back would flood the chamber, he wouldn’t listen until it was to late, then we sit about for three hours waiting for a tanker, he’s cost me time and himself call out charges for a tanker. As I said earlier, I’m there to earn us both money.
