  1. Feck that, slow and steady wins the day.
  2. That was suggested on the page I nicked the picture from, for a sheepdog to go through. No firm answer yet though. Apparently it’s bigger than it looks in the pictures.
  3. What about this, believed to be farmland in Lancashire.
  4. *Kidsgrove.
  5. Is it just out the back of Kidsgrive?
  6. Correct, we are all being taxed for them, it’s just down here we get taxed for them and still have to pay when we need them. Glad I very rarely need meds.
  7. Keep it, Bullman.
  8. Slightly in the wars at the moment, I’ve got Conjunctivitis and an ear infection, doctor gave me the prescriptions, two lots of drops and some antibiotics… best part of 30 quid… I felt more sickly walking out of the pharmacy than before seeing the doctor.
  9. Why’s he out of breath, he’s only chopping logs…
  10. It’s how it is sometimes, fella.
  11. I don’t know, don’t watch TV, and very rarely listen to BBC radio.
  12. Just listening to the news, it seems Lineker will be back to work as early as tomorrow with no sanction.
  13. No, and it’s not the first time he’s done it, so have many more BBC employees and freelancers, they didn’t get suspended because they were in support/agreed with government policy. Organisation’s like the Beeb can’t have one rule for one and another rule for others. That would be impartial.
  14. I totally agree, this subject is about Lineker and what he tweeted, and it’s a political decision to suspend him. The beauty of it is, he doesn’t need BBC/license payers money, Sky/ITV would have him in a heartbeat, so he can tweet what he likes. The fact that no other commentators stepped in speaks volumes.
  15. I wonder if Lineker would have been suspended if he had tweeted in support of government policy, which would also not be impartial, I very much doubt it.
  16. Fair enough, explain it to me.
  17. can someone help me out here, anyone? I’ve either totally missed his point or he’s deliberately trying to confuse me. Genuine question.
  18. My apologies, I thought that was exactly what you said.
  19. Only certain people with certain views get the slated by the BBC, strange, ain’t it.
  20. I’d not apologise if I was him, I’m sure he could earn more money, should he chose to, from Sky or ITV. We’ll see what happens.
  21. Go back and look when I last posted in that thread. And I don’t believe GL was advocating National Socialism. Do you honestly believe that?
  22. I don’t follow the Covid thread because I can’t keep reading you wanging on.
  23. Why haven’t they terminated his contract then?
  24. I protested in Matlock last week, there was a grand total of 18 of us, when was the last time you took to the streets to protest? I’d dare bet you never have.
