  1. It wouldn’t surprise me if van lifers had eaten them all going by the amount of vans parked around there and the Peak District yesterday. Rows of them in some lay-bys, not even trying to hide
  2. Only trying to save you a few quid bud, why by a dedicated crockery tarp when the customer is providing a free shelter for the crock’s..,
  3. Empty the tray on the table then cover the crockery with it. Up here for thinking..,
  4. Terrible mistake Doug, if the coffee is good keep hold of the mugs for at least an hour, on the grounds you may get offered another brew.
  5. Probably the most famous balcony in the world. I remember this vividly, our eldest kid, his mate and I were watching Hurricane Higgins in the snooker when it cut off and the balcony scene came on, our kids mate said, who smokes the most Embassy’s then, the SAS or Higgins, very quick considering Higgins was a chain smoker and Embassy were a popular brand of ciggies back in the day.
  6. Good shout, I’ll have a look.
  7. Anyone live near The Roaches, Staffordshire Moorlands. I’ve been a ride over today to see if I could spot any Wallabies, got speaking to two locals separately, one told me that he believed the winter of 2010 killed the colony off, the other told me that there had been sightings much later, perhaps 2018-2020. I remember seeing then as a kid but that was 40+ years ago, maybe even longer. Anyone local with any more info?
  8. I had Draoer measure given to me by a company I buy some bits from 5-6 years ago, still going strong. The then Mrs Egg called in there to grab me a few things and one of the lads behind the counter gave here another tape measure and said give this to Egg so I ended up with two. Considering the conditions I used them in I’m amazed they’ve lasted.
  9. Since you worked your magic on that little saw it’s never missed a beat, ideal for my use.
  10. Amazing!
  11. It’s not true then, is that what you are saying?
  12. Why try to back them up then with nonsense?
  13. Nearly 14 years of austerity and you want to blame Covid. You’re dafter than I thought.
  14. It’s gone cold quickly, 13 degrees yesterday, 3 degrees today. Winter on its way.
  15. When the richer are getting richer. Fact.
  16. It did make me smile, I gave way for translation.
  17. I bet they are gutted.
  18. I’ll give that a miss, the less I see of the police the better.
  19. I’m looking after him, he won’t get out of here while he’s under my watch. I muzzle him, which I don’t like having to do when I take him out. He’s not my dog to off. My question was more about the breed rather than this rescue dog.
  20. No, come over here and tell him he’s a prick.
  21. I’m not so sure, while it’s with me it will be restrained. My point is, it’s a rescue dog that I think will be ok with the right care. Breeding from him was a bad move in my opinion.
  22. I’m in agreement with you, I don’t think this dog should have been breed from. Yes it’s the same lad who has the pups that got knocked off his bike, £1000 each, seven bitches, one dog. I’d love you to come round and tell him he’s a prick to his face although I do agree what he’s done by breeding this dog is a bad move.
  23. Anyone know about these dogs, I’m looking after a mates one while he’s recovering from a nasty motorbike accident, it’s the most nasty, vicious dog I’ve ever known. Dave the dog is a rescue so not a lot known about his background. Are they known to be aggressive, because this one will attack for fun. He’s sound with me but he’s bitten folk in the past. Curious really because my mate has eight pups for sale breed from this dog.
  24. 50mm PIR board, floor, ceiling, walls and batten it out using sikaflex or similar to glue your battens in place. Swing that door open to aid ventilation whenever you’re in the shop.
