Found out half hour ago that Thomas Hingley (Inspiral Carpets) is putting on a free gig tonight at a pub just over the border in Cheshire, quick shower and taxi booked for 8:45. Sounds like a blast!

A 15A power pack is going to be right at its limit during startup and shutdown, worth a try if you have one but I think it will be under powered.

Although I always advocate Honda I’ve had a 20hp V twin B&S in my now standby machine since 2010 and it’s never let me down, oil and filters every 50 hours, roughly, and a full service once a year, its earned me hundreds of times what I paid for it.

When cleaning with a pressure washer flow beats pressure every time, go with a Honda as most are matched up with a decent pump that you can get spares for, couple of hundred quid secondhand of eBay and the like.

I’d worry, not. Nearly 2 months of coughing, runny nose and two blood tests on, still nowt showing, although the doctors surgery called this morning asking me to make an appointment to see the quack, back in tomorrow morning!

The fact still remains, we choose, (if we are lucky) how we live. People earning/retired on good pensions should pay towards their scripts, at what stage of wealth do you think it should stop?

Where does it stop, we’ve people sitting in million pound+ properties drawing massive pensions, still getting free scripts, yet it’s the bottom feeders who always get the blame for the country’s woes?
