  1. An old boy who I used to beat with told me a lab is born half trained, a spaniel dies half trained. He wasn’t far off the mark. Just too big for what space I have.
  2. @josharb87 I didn’t think you’d have an answer.
  3. Here we go, tar everyone with the same brush! Can we keep it to smaller dogs that can live in my trailer or camper comfortably?
  4. Thank you, young man.
  5. Although I’ve always admired Lurchers I don’t want a bigger dog, I’m told there are some Whippets due on a traveller camp in Kidderminster shortly, I’ll go for a look-see with caution, I don’t know the folk.
  6. I’d have a whippet in a heartbeat, do you know of any available?
  7. It’s mad as a box of frogs I don’t want, if I did I’d get another spaniel. I want something laidback. You
  8. You’re one to talk, once you’ve had a wife beater I can’t understand a word of ya!
  9. I’ve decided I’m getting another dog. I’ve had numerous spaniels before but I’m looking for a change, maybe a terrier, or a whippet, something I can work, or run occasionally. I have limited living space but walk many miles most days, your thoughts?
  10. It’s weird isn’t it. cnut.
  11. Peculiar the sites some folk know the name of.
  12. Never heard of hoboporn, just off for a look.
  13. How bizarre, it’s been happening for a while, one or two words after what I’ve typed.
  14. @Steve Bullman why are random words appearing at the end of my posts, I certainly haven’t typed them. ‘You’ seems to be popular. You
  15. Way to much like common sense! Demolish the lot and start again, unfortunately in Stoke-On-Dope they tried that in a place called Middleport, they got the demolition done quick-smart. Folk are still waiting for the regeneration! You
  16. That town I grew up in got a new retail park that is great, even get free parking, at the same time it got parking meters on the High Street and the town square. Talk about killing the town centre off! I choose to live how I do, I meet many that don’t have that choice in
  17. Come with me then, live amongst the junkies and beggars and we’ll do it together. These cities have been left to rot way beyond what I could change, and to be fair why would I bother, don’t we elect MP’s like Gullis, who’s offices are in this town to sort these things?
  18. This is the town a grew up in, it was thriving when I was a kid. 6th biggest economy and this is the state of some of the town centres.
  19. One last thing I needed to do before I left the area was go to see my mate, a diamond of a fella who went way to soon. Rest in peace Coop.
  20. I only needed to do two things before I left the area, go and see Coop and Deak, two of my best friends, I found Coop, but couldn’t find Deak’s grave, not for the want of trying, I’ll find him next time I’m in the area. Two good men who died young.
  21. Slightly harsh, there are some really decent MP’s, just not a lot of them. The fact is there is plenty of places to redevelop and plenty of unused land that could be built on. ‘We’ can’t seem to keep the number of migrants entering the country, I wonder if cheap labour is the reason.
  22. No, not building on arable or pasture, there is absolutely no need for that. There is plenty of buildings that stand empty that could be redeveloped and plenty of land that’s pretty much useless to landowners that could be repurposed.
  23. Stacks of them when I visited a mate in Chester, loads when I went to see our kid in Stoke. Less than 10% of the Uk is built on yet we have a housing crisis. Where does it end, people living longer, immigrants, and ‘we’ are miles off building enough houses?
  24. something I’ve noticed on my recent travels is the amount of people sleeping rough, especially in bigger towns and cities, then yesterday I was listening to an article on the wireless about the government wanting to fine people for sleeping on the streets (I’m fairly sure most people don’t choose to live outside in the pissing rain?). We’ve a massive housing crisis, blame it on government, migrants or whatever ya want, I just think fining people who are on the bones of their arse is a bit strong, not that the fine would be paid! Your thoughts?
  25. Thank ya fella. You
