  1. What else does the licence pay for other than the BBC?
  2. Yes, not in the last few weeks, but in the last 2-3 months. He's had a rough year. I'll message you.
  3. I don't know why I know this crap, I don't own a tv. I'm a mine of useless information...
  4. You know I don't like disagreeing with ya bud, but you don't need a tv licence if you don't watch 'live tv', I think the only exception is if you watch i player.
  5. I spoke to an electrician that I work with today, he said "things to look for, wiring harness damage running from safety switch back to safety relay and control box connection to stop switch. Damage causing a short would cause safety switch failure and blow the fuse".
  6. If I haven't please accept my sincere apologies, sorry.
  7. You want to make your mind up, any subbie wanting £200+/day wanted telling to feck off recently, now you're on about poor wages. Where are you at?, or does that depend on if you like the cut of someone's jib?
  8. They could and should have taken me there considering it's in the county I live in and Colchester isn't, but apparently Ambulances drivers take you to where they are told to. Karen played hell with them, being a Colchester girl and knowing the hospitals reputation but if fell on deaf ears.
  9. I'll have a look, did you catch my edit above?
  10. Give me a direct link to the wiring diagrams. Edit: it doesn't matter where the control box is mounted, the wiring for the switch on the machine will still go back to that box.
  11. I presume this is Colchester General?, if so it's been on the slide for the last 10+ to my knowledge, I was raced in there one Saturday night under blues n twos, it was awful, not just the fact it was full of drunks and smack heads but the level of care was apauling, in the end I got raced into Univerity College in London. Again I'm presuming the private hospital you are talking about is The Oaks, if so both me and Karen were treated there and I couldn't find anything wrong with the place. I had surgery at the West Suffolk under local anaesthetic one Saturday Morning. Appointment was 07:45, I was through pre op, operated on and out the door before 10:00, couldn't fault it.
  12. Sounds dodgy to me and rember PayPal always side with the buyer if there is a dispute. He says "goods not as described" they will believe him. Be careful.
  13. That's mad, 10A rated switch and a 25A fuse, no wonder it isn't taking the fuse out before the switch is knackered. Now I know that I'd go for warn wiring as well.
  14. If 20A would take the switch out why would the manufacturer put a 25A fuse in the circuit?, the fuse is supposed to be the weakest link put there to protect the switch.
  15. I've got an "oddball" 7.5t, Adrian Flux insurance sorted out the insurance after many other companies wouldn't touch it. I emailed plenty of pictures over to them and got it insured within a hour, don't know what they are like at paying out mind..
  16. There can't be anything else between the battery, fuse and switch, can there?
  17. Is it this that's failing, the limit switch? Timberwolf Woodchipper Parts and Timberwolf Spares spare stop bar switch and spare rotor casing switch SHOP.SPECTRUM-PLANT.COM Genuine Timberwolf Limit Switch - This limit switch is widely used accross the Timberwolf Model Range. This is a spare...
  18. I would, but why isn't it blowing the fuse to protect the switch?, moisture possibly?
  19. I'm still not clear. The fuse as blown for the first time today?, or you've replaced the fuse with each switch?
  20. Could you clear this up for me, you've you've gone through 3 switches but only once it's blown the fuse?
  21. You can keep that mate, if I woke up and it wasn't 16c I'd think I'd fallen asleep in a headge on the way home from the pub.
  22. I understand that Greenmech will have a fleet policy, but the AA have contractors they could use on the doorstep of your breakdown, (I know because my brother was one of the owners until he retired) that they could get out to you in a couple of hours. A truck and chipper isn't a big rig after all. I do feel for you, I broke down, (well a wheel came off a company vehicle and it took me a similar time to get recovered and back to the yard). Cold beer when you get home, Pete.
  23. I think you've got the wrong end of the stick, Bolt?
  24. Considering one of the AA's biggest contractors are based in Stoke, and have vehicles that could easily recover a truck and chipper that is piss poor.
