  4. I got a rebate/tax adjustment on my last tax bill from the revenue, i'll be interested if they come knocking on my door and if so how(as a soletrader) they'll try and reclaim it.
  5. I agree with ady, when it's time you know, i've only ever been self employed so don't know any other way and mixed private work with contract work, not a bad mix if you can juggle it imo. Reckon whatever you do at times though the grass is always greener. Goog luck:thumbup1:
  6. Hmm thats a really interesting thought, it does sound feasible but as has been said there are still the same amount of layers so would it be compromised, I'm in two minds on this one, also just read that hand sharpened chains are alot more aggressive through layers of protection, lots of variables I think,
  7. I was always told it's layers of ballistic nylon as well, I still call them ballistics-must be showing my age:blushing:

  11. moz, i'm with you, if I had that kind of budget i'd never touch a tree again(except for fun) and spend all my time drooling over barns full of supercars/4x4's and a special barn just for the huskys all ltd edition and fully chromed of course:laugh1: hopefully next weekl will be better for you, sounds like it couldn't be much worse.
  12. Following on from a post FRANK left on the arbvehicles thread about trucks at differing values, it got me thinking about my fantasy/ultimate arbtruck where budget is unlimited, size/practicality arent an issue and no concerns over running costs etc... So what would you go for, or a fleet of maybe Let your imagination run wild:laugh1: Here's a couple of mine

  17. That sounds more like what i'd expect to find, I did a SWEB course a while back and they showed dozens of photos of guys blown apart, bloated/split open and microwaved from the inside out, all pretty grim.
  18. Shame the theiving barsteward didn't fry, what about the poor folk who had no leccy as a result:thumbdown:
