  1. You have to do something, can't get caught with your pants down when older as what was all the effort for? It is crap when your penalised for working hard and saving when folk on benefits etc can blunder on through life and still get same state pension, health care, nursing homes and all that free. Meanwhile you have to sell your home etc and don't forget to save some money for you to have yourself buried ffs..... After all the years of tax paying the government can't afford you a send off ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  2. Best way I've always found on anything is to fully remove. Decant through a funnel into drums and hot power wash the tank out. Dry out and swill out with some clean diesel then re fit. New fuel lines if you can be bothered too.
  3. Put your wallet in the load carrying bit first lol ๐Ÿ˜† you'll be fine
  4. What's the crack then? How do folk get forwards in life? Surely folk don't hit 40% tax barrier and give up? I do start to wonder what is the point to all this? If I earn 50k plus then pay 40% tax and then national insurance on top so 50-51% and then as a sole trader a payment on account in the middle of the year..... Going ltd doesn't look as good anymore.... your 2k a year tax free dividend is halved to 1000 next year and 500 the year after..... Capital gains.... from stocks etc will now be taxed.... You buy a house, do it up and sell it on..... after April next year your ctg allowance drops from 12300 pa to 6000 pa then to 3k pa..... Where is the incentive to bray on and get forwards? I do wonder how safe pensions are considering the recent f up they made.... I'm 33 years old and think they've got us cornered.
  5. Don't know who's going to do the jobs. Young folk don't want to graft now at all... want an easy life and a wage for **************** all.... Would I want to leave trees at 50 ? Course I would. I'd like to leave before then too..... Have you looked at the extortionate tax rate between 100-125k ? 60% this Is where maybe some of the 50's people are backing away from work. I've even read some folk not wanting promotions etc.... Capital gains tax allowance being reduced Personal allowance froze. Country's ****************ed and no wonder folk don't want to pay tax to be frittered away when they're in their 50's.... Also 35 years stamp and you've got your state pension.... you don't get extra for extra years work. Folk die to young. Why education 15-20 years work 40 then hopefully 15-20 years retired before your in your box
  6. Starting to think differently about these saws. Was considering getting one at some point as look really appealing
  7. Check head for grease this may contribute a little vibration. I never use the split shaft ones but I had bad vibe on one hedge trimmer die to a bent pole / shaft. Too much using it top of hedges and putting weight on it. Make sure nothings bent
  8. I use a bandit 90 daily.... have to have a full roof or the clean up is painful!
  9. Has anyone purchased or replaced a feed roller motor recently? Mines an older machine and not on the newer Parker motors. My roller motor has developed a leak and everything is on back order etc. Managed to source a seal but it wasn't just right and still leaking. Bandit has a seal kit but it's 130 quid ish plus vat! I think the roller motor performance is down a little anyhow so would like to swap it out.... Global have no stock! Bandit have no stock! Parker didn't recognise the number and said would have to go to Bandit. Anyone help out with a source and a part number? Being Yankee doolally its imperial not metric stuff. It would appear maybe the yanks were asleep just the same as others though corvid!
  10. I'm lost on the mt1 and mt2.... but do they fit the original wheel? ๐Ÿค” hope so. Would like to hear back how you get on also please. Many thanks Chris
  11. Ticka ticka ticka ticka ticka lol ๐Ÿ˜† If I can remember I take a quick video of the noise the 12v pump I fitted to my grinder makes and send it via whatts app. In the morn.
  12. Most things I've had with a kubota diesel have a 12v pump and you can hear it clicking etc as it pumps fuel just with ignition on
  13. Safetrack shit a track motor last week ๐Ÿ˜ž greenmech quick to send one out but haven't had chance to replace yet!
  14. Can you get tickets on arrival? Or have to get online
  15. I hope its got a decent steel body and decent tailgate? I used to load a jensen a530t 1250kg into the back of a transit tipper with some ifor ramps hung on the tailgate no issues. That's from ground level so way steeper, might have tipped the bed up a little to help. Newer style bodies with the craopy alloy drop down tailboards with miniscule hinges.... no no !
  16. I bought a second hand ifor gh1054 in the end as not paying the new price nor waiting for ever. Trailers new were fine at 23-2600 plus vat not 3900 plus vat. Sold a brian james tilt bed plant trailer as obly 2700 kg. Still have my gx106 I bought new un good co dition but I think this is going to go so I can buy a 12x6 dropside instead ๐Ÿ‘
  17. I didn't want to depress too many folks Steve ... I'm usually a glass half full person. But I'm a realist too..... been a funny year so far and going to get very hard soon!
  18. In this day and age very few people just get one quote.... many are 3 quotes plus..... How do you feel you are going to get on in the economic climate which we currently have and possible heading to a recession if not allready in one and waiting for the money to run out?
  19. Come up north and compete against some of the local lads and you'd be on the dole very soon ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ Being serious I take it you have a low conversion rate but high profit?
  20. Looks good Paul ๐Ÿ‘ What model is it? And would it be a hi tec? Still got your fendt too?
  21. Happy days! Thought this thread was on the bottom of the ocean ๐Ÿ˜† Yeah I'm going to have to order some proper ones..... don't know why but the ones that screw upwards seem to have a bloody nut ontop of them! And this is covered by the big plate the engine sits on. I will have a good look at it next week and get it all sorted. Cheers Richy ๐Ÿ‘ Chris
  22. Just wondering if other people's machines had these double ended screw in pins fitted to their machines at all? 2 of mine have been changed for what looks like a big nut and bolt / bodged....! One of the correct ones snapped today ๐Ÿ˜ž was going to remove this one but it's going to foul the frame on the way out! (Snapped one looks like an animal with Stilsons have been at it ๐Ÿ˜†) Crap design but just wondering If those are rhe correct pins / bolt etc or if they've moved onto something else. Cheers
