    Forst??

I think redwood is a great company to deal with and will consider a forst if i decide to change either of my chippers
  3. Bloody hell thats cheap! think bandit were 6.50 from recollection shame they dont do the vermeer yellow jackets too
  4. Hate it when they dont put a price, POA
  5. im looking at the tormek water fed grinders at the moment! how convenient this thread popping up
  6. Im looking to find someone to sharpen some chipper blades that are local to me. Not interested in sending them off. Anyone use anyone local? Cant get hold of my main man as must be away. Cheers
  7. lol like when i used to run an old vermeer 620i petrol chipper and you threw a 4" piece in..... you had to work that control bar well i find most people that work for you do not have the ability to listen to an engine, i always listen to how things are, even if its someone elses machine
  8. If im reading right, the Thumb screw as you say, is next to the solenoid little brass screw? by winding this all the way in you are bypassing the no stress! This needs to be wound out to the end then turned back in one turn or so. You need to check all the lights are on the computer and if the flywheel sensor is still intact
  9. Sounds a good solution for you John! Ive been trying to work out weather to get another 3.5t tipper truck or a tipping trailer... Lol
  10. Yup just order parts from Vincent at redwood and they arrive next day
  11. If you came out with that kind of information to some of the folk i've worked with they'd laugh you back into your vehicle.... its up to you if you want the work. I pay my guys extra if they finish late but they also get to finish early at times.... if one started with all that info at me they could happily go somewhere else.
  12. I dont know how you can mull stuff over for so long John. If i want something i do some research yes and have a good think, but the more i think and the more stuff i look at it fries my brain and you find yourself overlooking at things. Pick something, buy it and be happy
  13. It all depends.... i have lads travelling from 50 miles away, and 20 miles away. I once had one lad come from 90 miles away and he was the best worker ive had! I used to regularly travel 55-60 miles to a site to contract climb
  14. Dont say that! got a job on over manchester way in a week or two lol
  15. Think it will be rc 32 or something like that
  16. It depends i sold mine for 2150 2 years ago it was a double cab version and weighted 3 t empty!!!
  17. Not necesserilly he now has a few opinions and now will do what he sees fit. Good outcome if he knows what hes going to do
  18. All points very true its finding the middle ground
  19. Ha an do you really think he is going to charge any less??? Hahahahahahahahaha thats rediculous lol cheers for that laugh
  20. Im sure mine are buckinghams lol
  21. Thats coming from an old persons head etc When your younger and theres a lot of lads out there just the same as you, you need to show willing, be better and if doing a days work for free gets your foot in the door why not. It may be ok for the older generation to be sat on a bit of money and say dont do that thats daft but people starting off have to start somewhere. Whats 50-80 quid for the day co paired to the experiance that can be gained on the job esp if the company sees they are a good person and willing to learn. I tell you what original poster do what you want not what others tell you!
  22. Correct for a de compressor button
  23. Its a long while ago but i think i did a good few days for free when i went on a weeks trial years ago, dont see what was wrong with that. Too many prices being thrown round on this site leading to people being money grabbers and wanting a onner a day straight out of college because ive got my tickets you know
  24. Now then you jelly! You sold it to ginger ryan i know, i was gutted when i found out, tut tut
  25. Is that the new version? That takes the winch?
