  1. I would think any legislation, etc. they can use to not pay out will be used... Just an educated(?) guess...
  2. I think there is some law whereby given 28 days notice they have to allow access. I may be wrong...
  3. Yes it was probably that General...
  4. I saw on YouTube a retired US general stating that Hitler should have been left to do his thing, etc. and it was the West's fault Putin invaded. In reality Putin uses NATO expansion as an excuse..
  5. I have carpal tunnel syndrome which causes numbness in fingers, etc. If you're not using power tools for your job then it's probably ok ..🤔👍
  6. Those vibes are not that low. I would go for something in the 3 ish area...
  7. Stems with one years growth are prob best but even a log will sprout if ground wet enough. Push at least a foot into soil if poss. You can cut short (as stated above) but full length is fine- example being for cricket bat willow, growers use unrooted setts( think spelt?) that are about 12 foot i think. Deer, rabbits ,etc - might need mesh guards. Tubes not so good.
  8. You can get the slaves with elasticated cuffs I bought a pair but don't know where I put them . Tended to take them off after a few minutes. The Stihl jackets are good but only if it's very cold then great to keep you warm.
  9. I looked into it and I think nptc states must have CS 30/31 and over 380mm felling. I've got them( old Cs equivalents of 30/31 plus recent felling certificate). The test for becoming assessor looks like you have to get 4 out of 5 on all criteria)- I'd need to revise on legislation etc.. and might be difficult to pass- obviously they want high standards. Not sure if they're after already qualified assessors.🤔
  10. If vibes big issue Makita 36v rear handle cordless is good. Couple of 5 amp batteries.... Still over budget. Not really for thick stuff.
  11. Stihl ms 241. Low vibes. Bit pricey. What's your budget?
  12. If in doubt- ,take it out. Prime example is the other post on here: 6 year old killed by rotten willow...
  13. The DNA ancestry is the most interesting aspect- such as Y chromosome that passes from father to son. Discovered mine is Celtic. Ancestry.co.uk is pretty good for the DNA. I think the Y chromosome info may have been on Livingdna.co.uk- (or .com??).
  14. Maybe a Prunus species. Dried plum on the stalk?
  15. They must vary from region to region- 5 metre or something similar was their max and the woman on phone said unable to offer anything that would cover... I have always found them to be fairly expensive for other stuff but maybe they are better at paying out etc
  16. NFU wouldn't do tree work cover over a few metres height. Maybe different policies in Scotland?🤔
  17. Will do later if I get time before dark..
  18. I've got mf40 with rear hydraulics if anyone wants to buy one...🤔
  19. Agreed- I have just been looking in Humphreys/Wright's book before reading your post and came to same conclusion. Thanks 👍
