  1. I would seriously like one but I fear I don't have the pennies at the mo . Would you be making something like that out of the bits I sold you ? If so how much ? Pm me if you don't want the details public . I might have some big oaky lumps soon if you'd be interested in part ex.
  2. I want one can I have my wood back pls
  3. ? Sorry no pics of the tree but it had been hacked about any way ..
  4. Seiko's better or always was in my day.
  5. Which f1 ? Ive got the red case/green bezel funky combo kicking around somewhere
  6. It's parts like the glass I'd be concerned about as I don't think you can guarantee the same parts will be available in 10 years time with some obscure brands whereas seiko will almost definitely be about .
  7. I bought a couple of lovely second hand seikos on eBay, they were reconditioned by a seller in India, the only problem was the strap and glass on them were cheap and I spent more on the replacement strap than the original watch Not for every day use mind, I'd have a new one for that.
  8. I'd go for the Seiko if I were you, I don't think you can get much better in that price range and that one on amazon looks good, my only concern would be getting a replacement strap that matches the dial colour. I worked in a jewellers before I did tree work and Seiko are one of the best in that end of the market. I would avoid names I haven't heard of as replacement parts could become an issue in a few years.
  9. But you have.
  10. I might be interested in buying some of ours back if you can turn it into a nice bench like that, let me know when it's ready if you haven't got other plans for it .

  14. Wish We had bought a mill rather than sell you all that wood now, that would look even better in my garden. Bet its not from our lot though is it?
  15. Thanks This lots in Hampstead so prob no good for you but we generally work in the Kingston area and I'll keep you in mind for the future if you go that way. What lengths do you need it?
  16. Thanks I think I have this lot sorted now but if you could let me have the no's for future reference that would be great. Kev
  17. Does any one know of hauliers in or around London to shift large stems ? We struggle to give it away and could do without ringing it all up and carting it back to the yard .
  18. Cheers anyway

    Hetas

Would this not help prove the logs are properly dry as you'd get condensation otherwise
