  2. Think that's the model one of my mates has and it's not a touch on my contura 51. His flue hasn't been lined though so that may hinder the performance. Can't fault the contura but it is all I know.
  3. We've got several and the climbers tend to remove them after 5 mins getting too hot, might be better if they wore the breathable tshirts etc but no good in normal clothing. They're OK on the deck but the zip broke on mine very quickly.
  4. Ta very much. 👍🏻👍🏻
  5. Hi all, I've got some lumps of cedar and a bit of yew I've had knocking around for a couple of years and was planning to attack them with the Chinese Alaskan now it's not so hot and I was just wondering what best to do regards sealing the ends, do I just paint the ends as they are or do I take a slice off so the cuts are fresh. I was planning on using pva but have heard paint can be used too, which is best pls. Ta
  6. I'd be very careful if you're working with Aesculus we cleared one that had fallen in a pond and all the fish died. Something called aesculin poisoned the lot in 24 hrs.
  7. Prob should know this stuff by now. On a London plane. Thanks.
  8. Not viburnum opulus for me, twigs aren't red on viburnum are they?
  9. Just took my new toy for a short ride up the downs and she certainly put a grin on my face on the way down. Thought I was going fast until a load of boys in Lycra went past
  10. Smokey!!! Out of interest do you get through many starter motors? We seem to need a new one every year.
  11. Ta . Cheaper than I would've guessed then.
  12. Can't see the pics too well but it looks like a lawsons to me which don't get corynium canker I believe.
  13. Think it's safer not to use fingers. Apparently it saved someone from a rottie during a lock-in at one of our old locals. Broom handle keeps a safe distance
  14. Sticking something up its aris distracts them a bit apparently

Do you have a guide or are just practised enough to keep the angle consistent? I've got one of the little lanky systems but I guess you're using proper stones.
  16. Free tip sites are rare in south London, I doubt people will want others filling theirs up tbh. mid Surrey farm Reigate rd epsom may be the best you can get. Think it's about £50 for log and chip loads.
  17. Cornus kousa for me too.
  18. Think it was through a link on the website rather than an app, can't remember really.. Yep I'll get some more pics, I guess we should be careful with the arisings, last lot we could leave on site but not sure if they'll want any more.
  19. We never heard back from the forestry people about these http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=1430265 so I guess they weren't too concerned. Think we're back soon to remove some and the one s we pruned are making a bit of a comeback apparently.
  20. We have the 25sp which will go through a 26" gap, lovely machine to use compared to the rayco rg 25 which has the same engine We have both and the 25sp is preferred by all http://www.danequip.co.uk/our-products/25-27sp-grinder/
