  8. my sister once parked her car up to run some errands in town, upon returning after a couple of hours found that the car had been smashed to bits... some little sheets had basically been jumping up and down on her 206 until every window was smashed and every panel dented... nothing even pinched, they must have done it "just for fun"....

  12. Hi guys as the title says i'm after a place to tip brash in the Durham area... any ideas? it would be mostly small diameter/ leafy stuff as i keep most of the logs. If anyone has any offers/ ideas, it would be much appreciated. EVEN BETTER, if anyone has storage space/ yard etc, in Durham, and would allow me to store logs there and burn some brash every now and then, that would be ideal! thanks again Chris
  13. probably over complicating this but you could probably find a way to attach/ balance a garden hose reel or similar big reel to the top of the wall and run the rope over that. ok ok ill shut up
  14. run the rope through a drainpipe or similar
  15. good job you weren't tied in to that limb!
  16. it it were me i'd be waiting in the bushes one or two nights a week... worth a day off work to catch the beggars... or if you do manage to find out who it is, start dumping all your brash on their front lawn.
  17. any more info on these cards? cards that you carry around as part of your kit, or did you just use them during training? cheers
  18. thanks for asking, he's going through the usual tests tests tests, until the results nothings certain but apparently it was a "small stroke"... he's hard enough though... he had a stroke and didn't call anyone for around two hours... cos he wanted to watch the england match! they dont make em like they used to.
  19. thanks for the replies
  20. haha unlucky! how did you manage that?
  21. my grandad had a stroke and i was first on the scene. thankfully he was conscious when i arrived, but i did have several stressful minutes trying to recap CPR technique on the way to his house in the car. just made me think. Although i did remain calm and collected throughout, i did have several minutes to think before i got there. An urgent, emergency situation i imagine is a lot different. I am due a refresher course in september.
  22. wikipedia has such a list: List of woods - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
