  1. Reckon its a 372 xtorque as asking about a replacement piston on another thread, but may be wrong
  2. Big thread on here. Some like it some loath it. Personally use Stihl or Oregon
  3. Whats the recoil spring like does it pull the cord back in smartly. May be worth taking it out cleaning and oiling 3 in 1 oil good for this
  4. Pic of inside of starter cover and of flywheel. How are you tying the end of the cord and what length of cord are you using. Good luck with the pics cos its beyond me
  5. Cross eyed or something else?
  6. My thoughts entirely, also available in a range of lengths
  7. All the same batch number about 90 litres of it, glad I didnt pay for it. I just emptied dregs of drum and crystals on to filler filter mesh and kept washing it through with clean water as I filled knapsack. Glad to be down to last 15L should use it by next week and be back to proper roundup or gallup. Never had this before and been using it since the late 80's.
  8. Had a lot of crystals in the bottom of the cans, pita, but works ok. wont have it again
  9. How long before appearing in the overloaded thread
  10. Dave let you loose with the 880, it's been sitting in the container for years. Last time I was with him it was still the 84 with one dog and duromatic bar .
  11. Used to do the second many years ago before moving onto pulley savers, works well esp on dismantles when you are going back up to chog down.
  12. Where abouts do you live
  13. I take it you are not after one with an operator, would open your options further
  14. Where about in aberdeenshire are you
  15. Aye cos the outer bearing is a plain bearing, it will befine
  16. Better off standing winch further away, for better pull. Or double reefing through pulley block to use mechanical advantage of pulley and increased power of winch, whilst using lower layers
  17. Yes strongest pull on 1st layer of cable on drum, then decreasing pull on each successive layer.
