  8. Old ones only go to 90 degrees and yes have thumbscrew on gear head instead of the twist grip on shaft

  11. Aye there all within 2yr old bring back yhe old ones. the stihl i use have never had a starter prob, touch wood.
  12. Take all the twidly bits off and convert back to the old system, approx 8 yrs ago basic but reliable
  13. Watch the starter mechanism, lad I do some work with had 5 with broken starters the other week. Dealer put new parts in one of them 1 start and starter wrecked again. Mind you he uses them hard with little maintainance, they do not like drop starting. Mind you keeps the dealer busy

    Exhaust on my ms 200t has now departed this world, does anyone have a spare for sale or where,s best to get a new one (allowing for stihls new policies). Mine does not have a spark arrestor fitted.

  19. Hi daniel you can put an allowance for the hire of your chipper, You can also allow costs for travelling and accomodation/ subsistence allowances when away from home

  24. Does anyone know of a tracked chipper for hire for a week, job is near Bridge of Earn and to be done in last half of July/beginning of August. Also need a mini digger for 1/2 day near Shore street Perth. Any leads greatly received.
  25. Hi Silky can you ask Mendip, Is Douglas a spinone, diff to tell from the photo. We lost ours last year at 15 1/2 and 2 major strokes, but a hardy bugger nonne the less
