  3. : Hi mate we had the heating off for 1hr on wed:hahaha
  4. Daniel I think we will have to agree to disagree, we are miles apart in our outlooks. I dont say all new technologies are bad but we need to look to the long term. I know of one Biomass heating system running flat out at the moment to maximise the subsidies they can get (good for their pocket), all the house windows are open and fans are blowing the heat outside. Are these the advances we have to adopt to move forward to improve our lot and save the plannet, I think not. I know it could be argued that this a flawed political decision but is this the future, god help us
  5. By importing products, we create jobs in developing countries, who improve their standard of living and therefore can adopt new technologies which over time will reduce their own environmental impact. We need to think on a global level, not a local. You reckon that China has reduced its enviromental impact by producing for us. How about the improved standard of living for the poor sods in killed in that collapsed clothing factory so we can have cheap disposable clothes.
  6. So long as the lights keep burning in the city sod the planet, is that what you think. We all need to reduce drastically what we use, not be of the I want therefore I will have mentality. Sorry for derailing your discussion.

    Pa6/pa2

I stand corrected if you take the tests now you need to do individual courses for knapsack and tractor sprayers. I am covered because I took the courses in the late 80's early 90's. Appolagies for confusion caused. Found this info from NPC Training. What are the most common Pesticide Application Units? PA1 – Foundation Module. Covers legislation, storage, records, labels etc and is compulsory. The assessment is computer based and takes place at a test centre. All those who wish to use pesticides in the workplace must hold this certificate. PA2 – Field crop sprayer applicator unit. Covers the use of boom sprayers mounted on tractors or other prime movers. The assessment usually takes place at the candidates normal place of work. PA6 – Hand held sprayer applicator unit. Covers the use of knapsack or other hand held applicators. The assessment usually takes place at the candidates normal place of work. PA2 and PA6 are BOTH required if both applicators are to be used.

  15. Almost bought a 101 to make up the set. Mate had one fitted with a 6cyl perkins and spicer box coupled to the 230t transfer case, nice machine. Ever tried an Esarco 8x8 6cyl vm turbo diesel, awesome machine, scare the hell out of you but also makes you smile:001_smile:
  16. Stihl have a special tool, but you can pull it out without it. Using a M4 or M5 (M5 I think) set bolt some wasners and nuts make up your own puller. With the rubber bung at the bottom of the case removed look in and you will see bottom of oil pump showing there is a thread showing use a set bolt of the same size. Take set run a nut up it then a couple of washers, screw assembly into oil pump. washers will rest against cassing, bolt bolt and gently tighten nut against washers and pump will come slowly out. Good Luck Do NOT attempt to drive pump out from above, via the gear case or it will be U/S When you have it out you can clean it out with airline etc as usually a bit of sawdost will be stuck in the groove up the side, reassemble and try it out. If not new oil pump approx £18
  17. Forward controls are an interesting to drive. Enjoy
