  1. Only just come into leaf this week up here.
  2. We changed from an oil range 12mths ago. We now run Rayburn 355 in kitchen and oil boiler in garage linked together with an H2 panel works very well hardly use the oil at all, only when we are out for long periods and house cools down or we are away. Cant recommend the H2 panel or Mike Smith highly enough.

    Quicky question

My 260 chews up sparkplugs about 1 per year, starts to missfire and cuts out. The screw on ferrule on sparkplug(NGK) is loose put new plug in with ferrule nicely tightened runs a dream for about year and then does it again. All my other saws are on same plugs and are OK, so whats prob with the 260. I dnt mind but gets irratating
  4. Does anyone know of large chipper hire 7" or larger for a week starting 16th April at a site near Lochgelly Fife. Will try SGM and Double A in the morn.
  5. Just as an update, lost another 2 tyre on tuesday both the proper avon tyre running at 80 psi. Both tyres with distorted profile as if the cords have broken in the tyre were off the same side of trailer, nearside. Guess its the old potholes again and 3t load ?.
  6. think the wires are to deflect branches over the frame. like brash wires on camel trophy landrovers of yesteryear
  7. If my memory serves me right, think they were the ones on early I/F trailers fitted to split rim wheels. I think the tyres were michelin but were replaced by the present wheel/tyre combination as there were blowing out at motorway speeds. There may be a more modern version of this set up available now. I have had 3 maxmiler and avons blow as well, told it was due to potholes on roads giving impact damage, rupturing the cords.

    Insoles

We use superfeet insoles in our boots as we had them already, better than the OE ones.
  15. Does not say anything about it in the manual. Mind you Timberwolf never mentioned anything about adjusting the no stress when they sold me a new one. My first one lasted 2 years and 200hrs how long did yours last ?. £400 a nice little earner.
  16. Can you take a pic of the bottom attachment? Mine looks different to yours, it has a Velcro fastening which is garbage, your one looks better! These spikes are gecko classics have velcro top strap and old style belt type ankle strap same as the ones I have. They were introduced as people did not like the velcro ankle strap.
  17. Swap the heads regularly on my machines thats how I know
  18. Yes no problem hedgecutter and chainsaw head are interchangable

  20. As an alternative to a dunsley neutraliser could try a H2 Panel. It comes complete except for pump you just run all your pipes up to panel which you locate next to immersion tank.
