  1. Studies have proven that the reason women don't fart as much as men is that they can't keep their mouths shut long enough to build up pressure in their arse
  2. don't get me started.hate it hate it hate it. out out out now.
  3. I use a 60" GB, 50" cannon 36" duro. and if i remember to take one a 66" double ender for the 076's. i have got a couple of double ender mills i might be getting rid of soon, 2 x 4ft and a 3ft with bars. don't know when they will be up for sale but will post on arb trader.
  4. still didn't answer the question. "where did you get your hook Knives"? only interested because i need to get some more.
  5. if you drill either above or below the knot it will weaken it and it might fall out, so i would drill the knot especially if it is central. although the knot is a nice feature
  6. very nice, where did you get your hook knives?
  7. Firstly let me thank all of you who posted wishes on my "death":big grin The Staff at the Bristol Heart Institute couldn't have been more helpful or professional. My two daughters Jenny and Joanna came down from London and were there before i went in for the op and were there when i came back. the surgeon who did the procedure was brilliant and put everyone at ease. As for the op its self i don't remember much about it, they used a local for the cut and a light sedation but as i couldn't see what was going on i went to sleep:big grin: i was told this morning that that actually helped. The Girls took me out for Lunch (which i paid for) and then brought me home. They both took two days off work, arranged school runs and child minders to make sure their old Dad was going to be ok. I love them so much they are the best. so now its 4 weeks of no driving and a slow build up to full strength and back to work in about 6/8 weeks. Thanks again everyone:thumbup: Bob:
  8. :thumbup:Hi all, thinking happy thoughts today, my op went to plan and i am at home. will put up a separate thread in a short time:thumbup:
  9. Easy enough to make your own just use the old one as a pat
  10. Its not as bad as it seems because Ive been there last October. . . . . . . . All joking aside i am going to have my ICD fitted on Wednesday and one of the things they do is to stop the heart to make sure that the defibrillator part is working. sort of try before you buy:big grin: It takes about an hour and a half to fit and if all is working ok they will be chucking me out on thursday. Then its 4 weeks of no driving and no lifting of heavy weights(so carrying my wallet is out:001_rolleyes:) let you all know how it goes.
  11. Although it couldn't be proved by the fire brigade, last year the barn where we kept one of our Hot Air Balloons in was set on fire. Two Land Rovers and trailers, big basket and the envelope, fans plus all the hay and straw in the barn all gone. someone walking the fields found 4 lanterns very close to the barn that had been sent off the night of the fire after some ones wake. i hate chinese lanterns with a passion.
  12. i use a File Carder on mine, have a look in Axminster power tools to see what they look like then try your local hard wear shop and see if they sell them. cost about £2/3
  13. Between 55 and "Death" but wishing i was 35 again:thumbup:
  14. Got one for mine from Good Winch, it attaches to the tow bar so if you aren't going to use it all the time it can stay at home and your not dragging all that weight around with you. Works well and you don't have to chop the front of the veh apart to fit it.
  15. a good fun one "zombie booth" kid will love it:thumbup:
  16. i launch and recover Hot air balloons and this morning i got to the barn where we keep the balloon to find the Fire Brigade out side. the whole lot was burnt out, 2 land rovers and trailers the big basket and balloon envelope all burnt to the ground, hay and straw stored in barn is still burning ever now. totally gutted for the boss. gas cylinders blown to bits, what a mess. i have been crewing that balloon for nearly 3 years and i feel like i have lost a good friend.

    K-Seal

I have used k seal before it is good in the short term, cargo seal up is good as well but you have to ensure that you flush the system really well because it reacts with antifreeze and gloggs up. K-seal costs about £10 and will do the job on the matrix but not sure about hose. Hope this helps.
  18. might be some nice bits in it for turners, if not then fire wood.
  19. pm sent. just got back from a weekend @ the Bristol Balloon Fiester this afternoon.
  20. you will make more money if you can find a thatcher in your area, 90% of the hazel spars used in this country are imported from Poland by the artic load.
  21. get some After Bite form the chemist or supermarket. smear yourself with that and the beasties dont come near you but then no one else will either. it might be the smell of ammonia. lol. good stuff for after you have been bitten or stung.
  22. try the axminster power tools website or if you really want to go up market Ben Orford does them so does Ray Iles
  23. loads of cctv round that area Jon, call the old bill and they will have to look into it failing that call the RSPCA they "will" look into it.
  24. if you are gong to do this long term get an ms 660,36" bar and an alaskan mill and mill it yourself it will work out cheaper in the long run plus you could hire yourself out and get your money back.
