  1. Yeah, it is a bit of a squeeze but the tether length its much better at that height.
  2. one thing i did notice is i found the RW works better if set all to one crab not 2 crabs.
  3. Cool wednesday around 10am?
  4. I'll bring the bigmill over for you to have a go on next week if your about prob wednesday?
  5. I've got a ranger and was very impressed, gearing in reverse isnt as good as a hilux though. The easiest way to find pros and cons is to visit a 4x4 forum.
  6. Dont worry i only found that out 2 years ago. I had planned to go but the British Government insisted (told me) that i had clearance to survey the last 2 prison sites yesterday and this morning. So i was a no go . Did you get to do some work positioning or just accents?
  7. Nice pics Mr Bowen, How did you find the RW?
  8. Nice work, although i would edit them down a bit if your using it for marketing (people attention span is between 3-5mins), i do a lot but then you'll always get the ones who say you've edited out something you did wrong.
  9. nice pics, she looked in a right terrible state.
  10. Lovely set of pictures!!
  11. A compass on my left shoulder and script on my right shoulder, right ribs and left kidney. Im getting to swallows on my chest in the new year.
  12. I had promised the wife a limited carving lesson and a road that well is a river now and my new Logosol bigmill to go with my alaskans and mini mill.
  13. Superb slow motion footage, the shards flying were almost mesmerizing!!!
  14. Or commonly know as Pythagoras theory only pulling your chain banana, bit of banter.
  15. What was going on with the chogs being lowered? thought you said they were getting the hang of letting it run? Nice video and 14:20 made me wince a bit for your hand especially as it rolled over that point seconds later. Shame the rain spoilt the crane footage a bit. Still think it was only 80-85ft thought even after more so seeing that camera view from the top as the cedar we measured was roughly the same perspective.
  16. <p>Also on the milling i found it was fits and starts but milling for 8 hrs is hard, hard work and you'll go through 3 5l cans a day too.</p>

  17. <p>not sure yet as i need to check where me and the missus are in the country, i think i might be free to go down.</p>

  18. Good point, SRT uses bigger muscle groups so less stress damage on the body. I think no one mentioned what could be better than consistent friction on the hitch
  19. <p>Nice i'll bring it over if your free sometime during christmas. The alaskan is good but really requires the mini mill to be able to make good planks. The logosol on the other hand is massively more variable and can easily plank shaped posts and fancy dimensions. What width did you go for?? 36, 48 or 52?</p>

  20. thats the one. You see the more you look at it the more they have the same advances just different climbing style.
  21. also if your running bowlined in and have advanced your tip anchor with say two strops you can set the final anchor advance as retrievable like in drt but on one line. dmm revolver and small mallion basket hitched over a branch.
  22. I thought you hadnt, as i read you post and thought i hope he doesnt think we climb above our anchor points
  23. Im not sure if you missed something, i think paul is saying if you go above your anchor you can strop in advance you anchor with a sling or move the whole anchor. exactly in the same way as DRT.
