  1. I find kernamster a lot better to work with that fully static lines.
  2. a 211 with a 10" carving bar.
  3. i was really impressed with the torque but disappointed with the charge time and they only gave us 2 batteries. Youd need a good few to last a day or a small genny running
  4. Im donating it to the local broad to place in some read beds near a tree called the witches tree. (hopefully to be renamed the wizards tree:001_tongue:). Ive got to try and do some other stuff so they have a few set pieces for them, there all practice stuff so the quality isnt the best and they get them for free so.
  5. loads of room there, id say the groundy did the right thing and stood between the branch (outside the cones) and the worksite. Id guess he was stopping the traffic as the van was slowing up and the cyclist and bike decided to keep going.
  6. okay, so today i was doing some milling in the morning and this 6ft stem of cedar was too small to do anything with so.......... Not overly happy with the beard as im finding this part the hardest and putting eyes in seems to be quite tricky.
  7. Like some others have said going up is easy its managing the friction and pressure on the way down. Now a RW or Uni do this well and fluently with no cam spikes (as we all know a drop through 2m will shread a line). Pantin is probably a good idea if you havent one. it depends on what you want srt for, access or work positioning. There are much cheaper ways to spend money than a snake anchor (it is nice and shiny tho). 1 dmm revolver and a lyon sling for instance (i use them a lot). RW thread or HH thread will shine some more light on climbing and what LOTS is. Enjoy

  14. Had a bit of free time this arvo so built myself a winching reel for the portable winch.
  15. Camera lens and husky ireland make me wear them, technical extremes super comfort!!
  16. Had to follow their guidelines etc, no throwlines and everything had to be rigged over the tracks. i added the rigging hub as i wanted the system to run smooth but have some top block friction. The stem was really quite shot so the rigging was light and smooth.
