Hi, I mainly sell to local carpenters in my area but my client wants me to mill alot of oak and ash on site and stack, so they can sell it to reclaim costs of the job. Is e-bay any good for this?? I've told them i will stack but not get involved in selling. Any other ideas? Maybe find local saw mills who want it do you think?? Any ideas will be greatfully recieved. P.S if i get the job i'll be after another mill Rob (2 sawmills are better than one).

Cracking set of photos, really like the one with the top falling out, seems to have a kind of relaxed feel to the photo from your posture.

Great find James, If only i could find a decent set of 2nd hand propeller blades for my chinook then id post a video:laugh1:.... I assumed everyone had a chinook in the yard i guess its just me a Stephen Blair.

Always try to use balanced lowering when rigging branches, for the extra time its much easier to remove the branch. Good post

Yeah i got fed up with wedges and breaker bars up a tree so took a punt on one, really impressed with the lift capability of it. Also good for breaking step cuts on large chogs. Oh and you can back them off by turning a switch which is very, very handy.

Cut a triangle hole like thingy just the size of the jack then try if it fits, if not cut a bit more. Its easy, go on you know you want to try it.

Yeah thats a good point, i probably should of put one either side of the jack before i put it in.

It did have a lean backwards but it was blowing like gale today so just put it in place incase the wind decided not to help. Thankfully it the wind played ball.

Its a difficult question as i do lend my newer 395 out to mates who need a bigger saw for a job but wont lend out my 088 to anyone even tho its a older model. I waited for ages for a big saw nearly bought a 3120 but having the advantage of having used them both i personally prefer the 088 hands down. I would buy something like a 70-80cc and use it as a ground saw this reduces your need for a bigger saw sooner and you can wait till you get some wedge together or till a second hand one pops up.

Honestly, because they wanted it out. There were 3 pines originally we took one out which was over the driveway 4 months ago, then they didn't like the shape of the group that was left so a month later i removed the middle one then they decided they might as well have the last one out, grind the stumps and plant something different.

One question did you send the invoice with terms and conditions on it? a mate of mine sent an invoice and he didn't at the time put terms on any invoice. Well long story short took them to the small claims and got told he needed to send an invoice with terms on. 28 days later got paid for a job he did months ago.
