  2. Well, I suppose technically it's not illegal, but I expect a chartered landscape architect wouldn't be happy. The man mistook common norfolk reeds for purple melic grass!!!
  3. I overheard someone the other day saying he was a landscape architect (not down the pub, but to 2 HSE officers) even though there is no way he's a chartered landscape architect, he didn't even know what MLI meant (Member of the Landscape Institute). How do people get away with talking such bull? He's just landed himself a job as a landscape manager as well.
  4. I'm also after a CS34 course, wouldn't mind travelling to somewhere like TFK Training, I see they have a course date set for February, if anyone else is interested in making up numbers.
  5. Spoke to Clare at BTS the other day and am going to do CS32 there, she said that CS34 was being revised/replaced at the moment, any further info on this?
  6. Why CS50? - cheaper than doing CS32 and CS34.
  7. Assisted felling. Isn't it basically CS34(windblown) for small trees up to 15"?
  8. Does anyone know of any CS50 courses running in the East this year? Tried Lark Valley Training and BTS but they're not running any.
  9. Does anyone know where to get a Tirfor type hand winch repaired in Norfolk?
  10. Also took some pictures of a Fungi on an ash tree, any ideas?
  11. The top surface is crusted and cracked, the new growth has only recently started. There's a fair amount of dead smaller branches in the canopy, do you think I need to get a consultant to have a look, as it's near a building and at the top of a steep bank?
  12. Could anyone please tell me if this is Ganoderma on this Beech tree?
