  1. Hi Adam, I've been using the Stein Beeline with Velocity and it works well and lasts a long time, something to do with the quality of the technora they used in the cordage. Plus im giving it a good kicking on srt anyway and they both rate in my No1 spot of longevity.
  2. The council must have got 3 quotes im still waiting on one where they've got 2 but havent secured a 3rd in writing!! Didnt like the look of you fingers in the cut at the start james. Video mad it look smaller i measured it on the screen and it was 7cm tall.............. Hope the elbow is feeling better now.
  3. Small steps i found if you take bigger steps its counter productive. (lifts some slack up)

  5. Was this the job Dan gave you? Thought the council street works office said if you used Traffic it had to be done on a sunday?? It was nice today in the office writing reports about 20 degrees and not a hint of rain Good job.
  6. Blimey dont fancy having to clear them all up. Yeah i love my hub but havent got round to making some balancers for it. Thought about lowering line with a knut or something tied to the hub directly then balance it up that way.

Hello everyone, So as the title says Forms online for printing at poleclimb.com As before anyone within Europe not the EU can enter the location is Malvern, Shropsire at the three counties show as the poles are in thier 2nd year there and only there 3rd year of usage. So i hope to see you there and have a beer or two. Ian
  9. Hi, I did use a DMM thimble thingy and can post a picture up but found using a stein ppe sling and a ring worked better as the length seemed to be right for me. If i get 5 minutes tomorrow i'll put a picture up too.
  10. Dan Curtis might well be the first climber in the Uk&I to have used the Rope Wrench in competition from this weekend. (he finished 3rd in the work climb)

  14. The Stein ones, superb too. comfty with ear defenders unlike the bolle one i used to use. No problems in the rain really and the dont steam up really in the hot days too.

  16. I got it from my local arb shop but im sure most online ones sell them. Very handy little tool even on the ground when ringing up timber.

  19. Hi all, I've just wacked the poleclimb.com forms for woodfest up so if any of you arb lads want to have a go then this is a good one to do it at!!
  20. Yeah i'll be at the show, not camping as i live 5 minutes from the ground so soft bed and warm shower wins hands down. I've got a site for a reccy climb nice beach and a welly to climb but holding out for a bit nicer weather so lots will turn up.

  23. Hello, The tree inspection itself is a duty of care by the client. They have a duty so the inspection is them carrying out that duty to see if there is any risk of them not carrying out the duty of care. Sorry to use duty so much.
  24. Basically the "landscapers" Lowered the ground level and built a bench around the tree I wasnt 100% sure of K.D being present but id already told them it needed removing.
