  1. Used mine today with my impact screwdriver, driving in 100mm screws, fitted a couple of hinges and other gate furniture and still saying 100% on the battery. Passed my test, oh and the issue of the charger bleeping when the battery is fully charged, well it does , I just wasn't giving it enough time.
  2. Just got a waitley, 2 things,it fits the tools ok but had to be really forced into the charger? and the charger dosnt make a tune when the battery is fully charged unlike the genuine Makita, apart from that seems good value
  3. If the ground has been levelled for me I,d agree with the price above. I would use hardwood 5x4 v notch posts at 8ft bays . as long as there are no trees or sumps in the fencing line and within a 30 mile radius of my yard.
  4. Didn't realise you knew the wife

  9. Thumbs up for the terrasaur blade . best £150 ive spent in a long while
  10. This looks promising, ive been looking at a tool that cuts big roots in post holes without blunting, size (12in) is a slight problem but I see they also make a 9in, maybe someone makes a 4in?.
  11. Hi eggs, I got your private message , but im not into that kind of thing, I don't care what underwere you,ve got on or the fact that I can call you carol, thanks for the offer but im a married man mate!
  12. Didn't get her number by any chance did you ?
  13. Rambo, first blood
  14. I bought 2 from amazon for £30. I use it for cutting roots or tops of stumps for fencing. So far I found it a really handy bit of kit in the right situation. Cant see it being much good for pruning and as khriss says a silky would be better for that.
  15. spot on , gypsies and travellers are worlds apart

Amazing what these mules can tow
  19. some seriously good bits of kit there, not so sure about the horse though.
  20. You havnt been ripped off, you agreed the price they quoted you and they have done the work you asked for, as for the logs I would think that they have only ringed up the size of wood worth keeping , the rest went through the chipper.
  21. blocking wheel arches
  22. Great bits of kit, better than a tipper imo as you can reverse right into the back of a garage and unload, if its going on a typical 1 ton pick up you,ll have to block the wheel arches off.
  23. Seasoned knotty ash Has to be up there with the hardest.
  24. I cut high hedges by strapping a section of aluminium ladder to a double extension ladder to form a cross , that way you cant fall through the hedge, its light and easily moved along.
  25. (Fence panels) if its a long run I cut the first panel down to around 5ft wide then you should miss the old posts, just cut them to ground level and bang them in the ground, Obviously the first and last posts need to come out.
