The Bandit winch is heavy duty weighing 180kgs so it needs a substantial chipper to fit it on. It has the pulling power of 4000lbs.

Stuart we have two Navaras & have loaded HB20's before, the ropes will stand the weight but you can stress the hinges as they are weaker than the ropes! Also beware of the ramps running off as the tailgate is slippery plastic.

The model 75xp has a Kubota 45hp engine with a 12" x 7" opening, weighs 1340kgs but has to be built well to stand the 5yr warranty on all the structure. Current price is approx £21K delivered & installed. 6" version is a little lighter & alot cheaper but not a big seller since the introduction of the 75xp.

The HB20 sidewinder is Bandits best selling machine in the UK, the counterbalance valve now fitted as std on all hb20's is to prevent any wheel movement whilst grinding. The two drive motors are internally braked also. Build quality is high with a std 5 yr warranty to back this up on all Bandit machines, Sandvik head is available as an option on most of the grinder range. The new model 75XP 7" chipper is proving very popular wherever it goes, people usally have a substantial pile of conifer & leylandii but the chipper loves it, no negative comments to date. I too have suffered with this some years ago folowing years of repeatative mechanical work, the injection worked for me but the doc said it would only last approx six months. With rest and a change of work it has been kept at bay although it aches in the morning. Not sure if you can get further injections.
