  8. not yet mate but some of the sycamore is so nice ,wide and rippled:thumbup1: was too busy buying more cedar:lol:to take pics,,,i`m always thinking two yrs ahead,,,
  9. seems to me that theres the usual debate about cost of this butt, some thinking how much is it worth to me as firewood,(as this is what i do) and others who think its worth more to me(as I own a mill)so in my view as long as the guy who doesnt mill gets what its worth in logs,,then everyones a winner!

Ive listened too various debates on here previously and have come to the conclusion, its down too personal preference, some people like one make,whilst others swear by another, I have a wide foot so find meindle`s tight fitting, others find the ridgid phanners great, ,me personnely wish I`d never ventured from the safe Hiax`s,,,its all down to what works for you!
  12. just a note , I spent today planning up a load of seasoned sycamore 2" and it ended up just over 1" time I got the cupping out of it! my point is take into consideration end product,...
  13. give him a medal! the times Ive keyed in my alarm number and to find it wasnt set!
  14. get a canvas top made for it with eyelets in and bungee it to the side, really quick to get on and off, and usefull to dive under in downpours! lol

  16. glad your ok mate, enjoy life and make a bucket list! i ticked off three new destinations last yr, caught up with old friends , and decided not to do any jobs I dont really want to do! bring on the sun!
