  1. Justin i assume you will have your van stocked with shiney goodies for sale. I'll be looking at purchasing a Harness and possibly a rope pending funds. Can you put some extra fat person size harnesses on please. Looking forward to this now. Hope the weather is like it is today.
  2. Is it a new series? Seen it a few times before.
  3. Bobbysm unlucky on the test, Where abouts do you live? Perhaps you could get a lift with someone. Jonesie i'l hand over some cash for the thunder box on the day if that's ok.
  4. Thanks Nick, will have to try that out now.
  5. How do you get the water movement like that? been trying to do that for ages. Stunning picture.
  6. Agree Rangie classics are great but are now classics hence why the bring a high price for anything decent. As people have already said go for Disco 2, great for towing and you can get some tidy motors for same price you would pay for Rangie classic in great condition.
  7. Gotta be the stay and few beers option. Count me in.
  8. Have you tried FR Jones and Son? Showing £195 on his website.
  9. Firstly get rid of the Free wheeling hubs, more trouble than there worth. Fit new swivels and use grease and should be all fine.
  10. I know when i did my CS31, my instructor told me to take everything you would need to the fell the tree, strops, felling bar, wedges etc etc as once you start your assessment you need to be able to complete it. If you don't have it to hand then your just making it harder for yourself if you get in to trouble/doesn't go to plan and don't have the tools/equipment to make adjustments and fell the tree.
  11. They are indeed a Steyr. Have a look here different varients used by some army. pinzgauersales.com British Army also use them, but they are rubbish compared to other vehicles in the fleet. There was always 20 or 30 of these laid up waiting for parts to be repaired by the REME when i was away last year. Pinzgauer_High_Mobility_All-Terrain_Vehicle
  12. I posted this in another thread, but it's right for this one too.
  13. It is a good way to improve your photography even if it's just for fun. Does get difficult looking for new subjects to photograph and i'm kinda glad my month is coming to the end. It did however force me to get out and explore.
  14. Ok i've been taking a picture a day for the month of April for the land rover forum i go on. Just thought i would share them here as well, and ask if anyone else has tried to do it. Picture has to be taken on that day and uploaded. This is todays image, and the rest can be found here
  15. Congrats to you and the better half.
  16. Not used one, but met the designer, Tony is a very reasonable guy and will always take suggestions if there is a problem with a POD. He's on here but doesn't really post.
  17. Just seen this Handyman injured after chopping down branch he propped his ladder against Really does make you wonder what the world is coming too.
  18. Great pictures, have you tried AutoStich for stiching the panorma pics together, that would have made a great panorma from the top, panning round from the church.
  19. This was taken just off the A3 just before you get to the roundabout before compton. Jan 2010
  20. Same as what Dave said, keep it to minimum. Information should come from your presentation as in speaking. If you have to much information and flashy backgrounds or too many images people get distracted and won't concentrate on what your saying.
  21. I would report it, don't let him run your life by a few threating words from someone that is a bully. His van is sign written, the police should have his details from attending the scene. Does the pub have CCTV outside or perhaps a nearby shop? you never know what is caught on camera these days. Did the police take witness statements? They will be looking for you to follow up on this. Anyway more to the point, how is the land rover?
  22. As someone at 32 that's just getting in to the business i hope to be climbing until i'm grey and old and my fingers are too shot to tie a knot. Good to see the oldies showing the young whipper snappers how it's done and how long you can go on for.
  23. Went for a wander in to town today and found this along the route in.
  24. Unsure who your going to vote for, want to compare the policies of each party and get an unbiased option at the end. Have a look at this link voteforpolicies I've just completed it and i really have no idea about politics and it generally doesn't interest me, but still an interesting result. Mine came out as Labour.
