    LJ is rubish on wet ropes imo. moved to the htc & won't go back now. To many knot configs & rope types to tweek, or do I mean to say geek with!!

    If you put heavy reducing large pop's, crack willow & other leggy snappy stuff (40% or more) then yes I will use irons to aid me. But I would not spike below my final cuts!

    Got an 031 that a friend has brought over, cant start it. Dose anyone know the factory settings on this old girl? Done 1 on high & 1 on low? sound right? Thanks for any feed back.

    Eucalipt reduction. Leggie thing, but the client was happy with end product even after I explanened for a 2nd time the reaction growth with be fearfull!

    Fun job by look of it. Any reason it couldn't come down in one hit? Was the decay a real issue for a pull due to rd & lines? Not a slight on your skill & forsite I just trying to learn. Nice done job & photo doc of it:thumbup1:

    I was out doing some survey work today & came accross a tree I have not seen befor. Amur cork tree: Phellodendron amurense I have read a little on the tree & was wondering if anyone else has seen many of these. Seems to be an interesting tree with its use in china for medicine & resurch bing done on some of its medical uses hear to. It seems a double edged blade though as I read it is quite an invasive spp to, in new england for example it is spreding fast. A nice looking tree with interest all year round. The one I saw today was in flower with a fair amount of interest bing shown by all manor of flying bee & others. The berrys hang on for a long time to & are a good bird puller. Foliage turns various shades of yellow in the autum. Good tree:confused1:

    That not to much of a prob as have 4x4 that will get me out of grass prob's. Is it that the front end sinks or it just little light on the back?
