  1. the husqvarna 365 are the same as a jonsered 2160 turbo, used each model, no difference other than color
  2. this is another vehicle from the same guys, this would make a nice little arb van! 2005 Ford Transit Crane Truck 84000mi 2402cc 700kg lift on eBay (end time 12-Sep-10 17:23:46 BST)
  3. ive noticed, but ill put that location into my sat nav and it will take me whichever way it wants. Its the way google set when i said give me directions ill set it to go through endmoor to take fustration out of the journey. Your directions go up woodside road instead of the other lane which is next to it.
  4. The willow I referred to was the one with suspected bats. This prunus was in the garden also.
  5. heres a finding from the internet, not so much a fungi on a tree, but a fungi man! i also have a few shots from that willow i was looking at, had a look round the garden and had a few finds! WOuld i be right in saying that in pic 3 it is Amanita echinocephala?
  6. is this the right place?
  7. i like this one! Notice / Arborists Fitted T-Shirt - CafePress United Kingdom there are some cracking ideas on there, will be getting some i think!
  8. Nice one. Full time stuff doesn't seem to want to happen ATM. But with uni taking 3 days a week then I'll be after 2-3 working to keep my funds up.

  9. I'll be there. That useful tomtom of mine will direct to long/lat locations so that's me sorted! A road name would be helpful? If there is one available. I'll be there not long after 10. I'll leave our place at 9 and it will take about an hour an a bit to get there.
  10. Just wondering. I'm aiming to try and work as much as I can outside of uni and Im just putting some feelers out to see if I'd be able to manage it. I'm gonna be in Thomson local for my area so that may very well keep me busy. But I'd like to keep a few contacts on here aswell as local as you lot are all good guys on here.

Was just hoping you'd keep me in mind for anything. Let me know if you'd need any more info. Cheers!

  11. That was ace Mark. You Should do them getting bigger and bigger. Looks like you did anyway. But getting a lot bigger towards the end. That would make it interesting!
  12. Hey mozza there's something wrong with your avatar. There's 3 huskies in it! Haha

Do you mainly sub yourself out for work? Or do you have your own work aswell?

  13. Steve he shows you up for the stunt fells! That was a seriously gutsy fell. I've done some with serious backlean. But tying to a tractor and leaving a nice big hinge makes them come over nicely. A 30 degree lean in the opposite direction over a footpath is something not ideal!
  14. I was planning for this one in Kendal on the 4th. Looking forward to it
  15. I believe old snake has done a lot of splicing of armor prus. I would be interested in this too as I have a few metres to play with too!
  16. cool, if you need any help with your first year assignments let me know, i should be able to help you where i can, some of them can be a real headscratcher!
  17. are there any signs of peeling or flaking bark? it looks like mechanical stress may have caused it, with the wind, but i could stand corrected on that one.
  18. I've heard 'squash when stood on' though. But that theory can get confused with a few fungi!
  19. I'm 19 I don't have as much as much as I planned to get over the past month or two. I would like to be. It works out better when I work for other people for invoicing and stuff like that. There's nowhere taking on. I have all the kit so just work for other people as a subbie. I've been getting more work through my own adverts than I have from otter people. I can completely see where you come from John. My dad says similar things but will help me no matter what. I do manage to keep hold of receipts from honey brothers and other relevant places so I could track back prett easily if I wanted to claim anything. I'm at a pretty base level with everything ATM. With these two week off ita a bit of a kicker as I've been going looking at jobs. But they are having to wait at least a week or two before I can do them. As others have said. If I make mistakes it's easier to learn from them now with less on the table than in year to come where it could mean big consequences
  20. I thought you would have to be registered to claim it back? It seems like it's a good option to go for. Work has been on the up recently and will be keeping me busy for a couple of weeks after my Time off. Is it a good idea to have a separate bank account for these things though? Currently I've been using my personal one as that's all I've got. But was wondering if the bank would start getting suspicious? I can't see any harm, I'm not down as unemployed and don't claim anything. So to them it would just be wages paid irregularly? I will be speaking to some official bodies to find out more Thanks for the replies so far. Helped a lot in clearing the grey areas for me
  21. But first you haveto make an apple pie!
  22. When they are ful they behave pretty well. They like sloshing around when it's about half full. And it wobbles the van when you come to a stop. That just makes it fun though!
  23. Thanks for the tips. There is a business startup place run by the council and I was planning to go there for the advice I need. My mum has done the books for my dad for years so she will be able to help me too. I just need to record of money in and money out. I will try and get some firewood going too. We have a good stack of wood that needs to go so that will be a good place to start!
  24. I do work for a guy where a cscs card is required as he gets work for mayfields. There's a job in the works and I may need a proper arb on the ground. I'll keep you in mind if I'm ever asked
  25. Oh yeah. I should know about that. I wish I was earning over the vat threshold! I'd read up on it and stuff previously and had read what you said Frank on another website. So all I have to do is sign some paperwork really. But wouldn't I then have to sort out another insurance policy? Including employers liability?
