  5. if your only concern is cutting your fingers then i would suggest one of the following: a) wear gloves b) improve your technique so you dont slip, or c) tough it out until your fingers have so much scar tissue that they just bounce off the blade! sorry probably not much help, its a good old fashion file for me so dont know any sharpeners to recomend. best of luck.

  11. mark if you can wait it out till the next climbing meet, which will probably be in the next month or so, im sure someone will be more than happy to show you the set up and let you try it. if youve not used the vt set up before it would be best to try it with some there to show you how.

  16. when the weather is nice we get together sometimes once a month. well worth coming along, theres always a good turn out, always a good laugh and theres plenty of experienced climbers there who are happy to share their knowledge, its a great way to practice with confidence. even when the weathers not so great we still have a good time even rain and snow, its all good experiance. hope to see you there.
