  1. 1. Hilti , ithink that was its name, with a 22 load. 2. Because it was given to me Free. 3. It was great for fixing 3x2 to steel until the day I nearly shot my wife with a nail through the head.
  2. Now how did you know that? or have they been to a pub near you , twoz an amazing thing to behold
  3. STRIPPER every time for me and the more the merrier once sore a trick a couple of girls did in a pub with ping pong balls, never seen it played like that before .
  4. Well done and good luck, but i think they break them for more money than that.
  5. The last 2or3 200t saws i have had have not been that great, just did not turn into the really reliable saw that we all look for, so i sold them on and lost very little money, if any, on the sale each time, i also once had an echo which developed faults and i couldn't give that saw away. If a saw does not work as it should then i don't wont it in my collection. For me nothing brings down the red mist better than a saw with a niggley issue , if there was an Olympic medal for chainsaw throwing from a tree last year i would have won Gold.
  6. Hope the two your getting are not early models , the things only just come out surly they cant be changing the engines already .
  7. I'm just about to buy a new saw but don't know if i should buy the 201 or 338xpt or t435 the only thing i am sure of is with the 201 its always got a good resale value the 338 is supposed to be improved. Your thoughts anyone?
  8. NJUG10 , its in the barn at the moment but that gives the different depths of all the different underground services or at least what they should be, try googling it.

Yer, but it did pull a good wheely as you came out of the junction
  10. Looks like someones going to have a little holiday
  11. If you are doing ok on a few days local work and making good money for those days worked i'd say just stick at it, its easy to fall into the assumption that you should be working 40 50 hrs a week and earning loads of money, in reality the Arb market is awash with people with chainsaws and tickets, my advice don't be a busy fool, if you are good people will find you, and the more you earn the more you pay in tax, subbing like you are looking to do could generate a lot of income and you may end up with very little to put against it. Take it easy, maximize your time off ground by charging as much money as you can and enjoy your down time, life's too short.
  12. Hi jon, i'v got the 2.4 but i have had the 2.2 on a number of occasions now when mine has gone back for servicing or faults or for when rodents have eaten there way into my fuel tank very expensive problem that one. The 2.2 when they first came out where very under powered but the last one i had a few weeks ago , a new one seemed like they had tweeked the power a bit, it actually did pull a bit more and got up to speed on the motorway. Not as good as the 2.4.
  13. I used to run a mog parked in the garage with an extension exhaust pipe going through the wall and run a splitter at the end of the farm building, about 70m away, it worked with just the same amount of power as if it was on the back of the mog.
  14. Thanks for that, Ebay's always plan B,
  15. This ones got a swanky 4x4 switch and a turbo
  16. Update, its year 2000, old, and seems to be ok but not very nice to drive, it has got 4 good tyres , full mot, 4mths tax, service history up to 47,000 with 83,000 on the clock , i may have paid too much but i was only after the tipper bed off it, its a good one made by trucksmith and the dimensions will fit straight on my Hicap, i have also got the original Tata rear pickup bed which i will put back on and then sell it or is the opinion on here that i would be better just to scrap the whole thing once i'v removed the tipper and its bits.
  17. No Way now thats a nice looking truck you have there.
  18. No, on my life, may I die in the night if I lie, but I will explain more when it gets here in the morning, if it gets here. But great replies. Any more technical details would be good but I know not knowing the age does not help, I do recall seeing a P on the reg but I just can't remember.
  19. Yep, didn't even drive it and forgot to look at the reg, but it was road side with a mobile number, should be ok, the chap seemed really genuine and said it was a nice drive.
  20. GREAT replies ,I didn't think I would get any on this one, I will reply to all tomorrow with an update on its Physical and Structural condition and explain in more detail why I chose to buy such a lovely pickup, food for thought, for me its always been the ratty trucks in my life which go on and on. Keep them coming.
  21. That was the term I had heard , rust being the big problem, but this one's no teabag.
  22. Has any one any knowledge of these trucks please , just bought it today and i think its about 15 years old 2L diesel possibly a turbo, I tried to Google them with not much luck, I did see on one site that the engine could be from a Mercedes ? or is that wishful thinking, running gear ? I know they are thought of being a bit like Skoda's . I haven't driven it but it started from cold and sounded ok, I do know its history. Any help please , and I will post tomorrow its age, and if it gets back to the yard.
