  10. a while ago we set this up thinking along the lines of tracked and wheeled base with shared attachments giving us the ability to cover a range of site conditions, specific training for tree shear and site/forestry/arb situations has not been found, I understand Ground Control with involvement from Eddie have a basis of operator requirement/training and experience level, early days yet but we are gaining experience, my thanks to Eddie for his gentle teaching during our journey

    Reversion

I am fascinated and intrigued by plant cultivars ability known for a particular leaf shape, colour, or other striking characteristic to try to ‘revert’ back to a different form found in the plant’s parentage, here Acer platanoides Drummondii recent
  16. ''Started to gradually feel more tired more easily, legs feeling heavy, strength not quite what it was. Old age creeping on I thought as I approach 6*.'' me to and cut salt a few years ago! ta for sharing may experiment with salt to see if helps, used to work with trainee whose mum always put a portion of salt in his lunch box, like the twist in the old crisp packets ! but that's another story
  17. I think it is Willow, goat (Salix caprea)
  18. Steve, looks good, I agree with picture on right comment as above, also the face photo seems to be out of focus on my screen
  19. similar system I think, some rod spring over center thingy , master cylinder is a little wet and is the next thing to replace as options are getting near to having to split the tractor, clutch and thrust bearing were replaced fairly recently in tractor hours but not in real time! it has not lost fluid from reservoir so I had thought ok but..... looks wet from photo
  20. I have on going problem with clutch pedal movement any help appreciated, I can see 2 adjustable items as pictured and have bled the system, I have pedal not returning back intermittently and working ok at times, gasp
  21. thank you
  22. I have always been intrigued with the whisper system although never seen or experienced it, I like the way the cut is on a slicing angle and imagine it to be much more efficient in addition to the ''whisper'', are the blades easy to set up in the V ? and are there just 2 pairs? our chip can be a bit random and slivery at times
  23. 3 straight ones although the 550 on the mog has 2 blades, that also has good appetite
  24. out with a smaller chipper, just to get the rust off it! I'd forgotten how good they are
  25. odd to see such a total and catastrophic failure as that! shame to have lost such a significant tree
