  1. Thanks for the link mdvaden, the trupulse 360b is nearly £500 cheaper than you can get in this country, we was going to hire one for an application but at those prices we have ordered and are quids in.......
  2. Just way over priced and few applications you can use it for, big mistake
  3. We moved last month, our house we sold is next to a river (20ft away) it has flood gates on windows and doors, unfortunately they wernt enough protection and the house has been flooded, really feel for the new owners that was sw of carlisle at the foot of caldbeck. My brother is keeping very busy, fireman in carlise,, he has been sent to nobagob
  4. Do you have a TruPulse 360B that you want to hire, we need one for 1 month. If you do please pm me thanks
  5. No its not that, sorry just got mixed up.... Its either Zanthoxylum clava-herculis or a close relation to it.
  6. african acacia if i remember correctly, they have a very deep tap root to dra the water..
  7. BUMP Monkeyd, Is the Arbotom any good ?
  8. We had one of those, worst bit of kit we ever bought, sat in a box for 6 months then sold on ebay.. Way way overpriced.
  9. Laserace hyp has 15% off at the moment, if you dont go for one of these make sure what ever you buy has a compass in it or you will have to offset against two objects for every measurment, very time consming Your other choice would be a trupulse 360b
  10. That has to be one of the pics of the year
  11. Dave, what do you think of the Arbotom ? was it as useful as the kellykettle
  12. use the links i sent you to look at hiring a structure which will easily cope with 30t
  13. looks like an AA logo on his jumper
  14. snap Giles, i dont tend to get my hands dirty anymore either we just wanted to know which was best, i have also had alot of meetings with terram and a few with cellweb, terram are really developing there system and have lots of interesting data on waterflow etc, if you pm your email i will email this over to you in the next few days.
  15. sorry forgot to mention we threw in a few curve balls to try and make more realistic, as generally happens in these situations we introduced dust, sand and soil as this is what would happen on a typical construction site. we also did a test with unwashed aggregate as this is the common way for developers to claw back some money, guess i dont need to outline the results. Of interest though we just designed a new access path to a school using the terram system, with washed aggregate and a permeable bonded surface, stopped into see it the other day and it is fantastic, even with all this rain. We have quite alot of experience with these systems tony as we do alot of designs for wind farm access tracks, inc temporary tracks for oversized vehicles gaining access to deliver the turbines.
  16. a section of each system was installed as instruction with recommended infill, compression was added on a reg basis to simulate usage, after a period of time we inspected both systems, the c-web had areas of standing water and the holes to disipate the water in the walls where clogged. Terram's system displayed no standing water and the infill was relitivly dry.
  17. if you go down giles route and not the temp one i pm'd you look into terram's option as cellweb's system tends to clog up and end up waterlogging the area you are trying to protect, we have done tests on both and IMO terram geocell is a far superior product, if you pm me i can send you huge amounts of info and specs inc tech drawings in dwg.
  18. in the short it is not viable as you have to acrue so many hours to be recognised, it would cost to much unless you intend to use weekly.
  19. have pm'd you details of how we have done this.
  20. i thought the shroom in the 2nd pic was Oudemansiella mucida (porcelin fungus) but it being on the ground makes that questionable.
  21. Like in the title found on a selection of 56 pops today in doncaster. Not sure what the first white ones are but the rest dont need any introduction. Any ideas on the white ones would be greatly recived
  22. Whats your web address...
  23. Hosting etc shouldnt cost more 65 -100 per year depending on size, as arb sites are usally a handfull of pages it will be more to the £65 mark, annual maintanance should be charged hourly to keep costs down and if you dont want any major changes or new pages should only cost £35 to make sure databases etc are upto date.
  24. Unless you metatag all your pics they are useless for search bots, updating a website has no effect on your listing unless you make a better job of how your script and meta tags are sorted/worded.
